A day at Galveston beach with some of our favorite people wrapped up our time in Texas.
3 weeks, 2 summer camps, 3 vehicle inspections, 2 driver licenses, 1 insurance license, 9 Dance Lessons and 10 medical appointments later, we are back on the road!
Hey all! Ik I’ve shown this house before, especially sad when it was going to be potentially sold and moved. But when we were living at the beach house for the entire month of July, we saw filming and hard work of a complete makeover being done to it. Well this just posted to @houstonchron today and it WAS being saved. It’s going to be on HGTV. Man HGTV surely has enjoyed the island over the last couple of years. This couple who I’m now following @save1900 will be the hosts and their work the subject! I’m such an excited fan of Galveston and of its revitalization and it’s amazing history. Here’s what the article said on FB today on the Houston Chronicle-“ In 2019, the owners of the remodeling company Save 1900 will star in "Saving Galveston," an eight-episode series highlighting eight home remodels that the Cordrays recently completed over a period of about five months.
The Kettle House, a familiar sight for anyone traveling to the beach on the west end of the island, is one of the eight.” #hgtv#galveston#kettlehouse#acornhouse#renovation#galvestonhistory#remodel#westendgalveston#galvestonhistoricalfoundation#architecturelovers#uniquerenovations#uniquehouse @houstonchron @save1900 @galvestonhistory @galvestonisland
