Cheers to a short week! Holiday season is upon us - which means a lot of food and a lot of drinks. Here are some tips on how to keep it healthier: ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
🥥Eat a healthy wholesome meal and drink water or coconut water before you start drinking. These nutrients being in your system will help digest the alcohol more efficiently. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
🍹I definitely took advantage of the different drink options in Mexico but on a normal basis I only drink vodka. Mixing alcohol with sugary drinks is overkill on your liver. The sugar is just as hard to process on your liver as the alcohol and it is empty calories. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
🍈Add a lime to vodka soda or vodka on the rocks to give it extra flavor without the sugar. ⠀⠀⠀ ⠀
🥦The next morning, instead of going through a drive thru to get something greasy, replenish your body with something healthy and nutritious to help flush toxins and replenish vitamins and minerals that you lost.

Not going to lie, my back has been giving me trouble the past week or so. It felt like a pinch nerve and it did go away in a few days, but if it happens again I’m for sure getting it checked out. My goal is still hypertrophy work. I’m really just trying to build muscle as best as I can without placing more strain on my joints then I need to be doing. Sometimes I feel like people start lifting weights that are too heavy for them to do with proper form just to build their ego. I used to be like that sort of, which is why I’ve decided to take a step back and work on that more just for my own safety and so I don’t run into any issues later down the road.
Also, I should make note of my absence on social media again. I just really haven’t felt like being on as much this past week or so! It’s not reality and no one should focus on it more than things that are really happening and need to get done. My last week of classes are next week, then finals, and then I will be off for Christmas. It’s all going by so fast. I’ve been slacking in some areas of my life, but at the same time still getting shit done and doing so in a relaxed way. The motivation for fitness isn’t always 100% there and sometimes I do struggle to maintain a stricter diet to see more results, but it’s okay to admit that. I’m trying my best to overcome some bad habits before beginning the new year. You should too😉

Nach langer Zeit mal wieder das Einrad ausgepackt 😍 konnte ich schon mal besser und mich hätte es auch fast so richtige auf die Nase gelegt (siehe Videoanfang 😂), aber war gar nicht mal so übel nach so langer Zeit 🙃
Heute war ein echt anstrengender und ereignisreicher Tag, hab lange beim Doc gesessen und hatte spontan einen Termin im MRT. Endlich darf ich wieder ins Gym und trainieren - wurde aber auch Zeit 😂🤦🏻♀️ Es ist echt so beruhigend wenn man Entwarnung bekommt 😋 Natürlich war das erste was ich gemacht hab nach dem MRT erst mal ab ins Studio, was sonst 😂
