I had a great time paddling with two of my best friends on the creek a few weeks ago. There are so many beautiful places to see and experience right outside our doorsteps! #funoutdoors#kayakingadventures
Back to our allotment group today after the crap weather last week! 🌧 💨
Sean had been talking about the pumpkins he’d planted seeds for before we turned up which was a funny coincidence since they had grown enough to be planted into the ground 🎃
We usually have plenty of time between the end of the group and getting the bus but today Sean wanted to play with the swing, and the little digger. And insisted he needed his nappy changed before we went home 😒
He would have been fine, and we missed the bus 🤦🏻♀️ Not that Sean was complaining since he got a new book and bin lorry from the charity shop 😬
Over the last few days he has been saying he needs his nappy changed or pulling on it when it’s a little wet which I have read is a good sign for potty training 🤞🏻
And I mentioned it before but I am holding out for the summer holidays and being able to have a stretch of days in the house! 🚽 🏡
And I’m hoping that he will take to it quite quickly once we get going 🙏🏻 🤞🏻 I never had this with Ben, maybe it’s a different child or maybe it is the cloth nappies making it more obvious and uncomfortable. Or mixture of both 🤷🏻♀️
Anyway we were both glad to be back to the group and we get to take Ben next week since he finished for the summer on Wednesday 😱
Which was news to me. Also news to me that it’s 7.5 weeks he’s off for. I will probably cry at least once in that time 😂😂😩
Swim lessons at Little Manatee River State Park yesterday. Turns out, she enjoys blowing bubbles under water too! I couldn't figure out if she was doing it through her nose or mouth though.
We DID see one gator off in the distance and called it quits soon after. We did not want to give it a doggie snack.
