Hey friends I’m posting this Go Fund Me for some very special people! This place is so fun and very cool. My friends who own and operate it are some of the coolest and most down to earth good vibin peeps you will ever meet. If you can spare a little or even a lot please help out. They try and offer a safe and fun place for us kids to hang out at. It’s family; not just friends when you walk in right from the beginning. Here’s to hoping @ronkaundergroundskatepark can be saved! We 💚 you Susie! And my special friend pDude! Jeff is pretty cool too 😝 #ronka#family#skatepark#scooter#skateboard#bmx#ride#actionsports#fundraiser
Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday with a fundraiser to honour Johnston Street's Spanish Club. The Sangria was flowing as we helped raise some much-needed new funds to mark the Club's new beginning. We look forward to seeing the legacy continue with a new clubhouse to come. Hasta la próxima!
Not taking a second of this experience for granted.

What an amazing day. @danieldavison25 and I managed to raise over $700 for cancer research and the whole tournament over $30,000. I’d like to thank everyone who helped us raise this money, you’re all amazing! Had a lot of fun and met some great people. This one was for you, Marielle. Je t’aime beaucoup.
Only 2 days to go until Jad and I brave the cold winter night to raise money for our states most vulnerable people at this years 2018 Vinnies CEO Sleepout! I want to thank everyone who has generously donated so far. If you haven't it's not too late...even $10 can help someone get off the street! Every year Vinnies helps more than 2 million Australians - We need to help them continue this incredible work! @ceosleepout @jadkhattar
last march, my dad lost his big brother, jim horan, in a tragic car crash. my uncle jimmy has always been the life of the party, and the world lost an incredible brother, father, husband, uncle, teacher, friend, musician, & storyteller the day that he passed away. my uncle adored his family more than anything, and a major part of his legacy is how much our extended “horan clan” has bonded this past year ❤️☘️.
my uncle jimmy was a well-known teacher & golf coach at @hinsdalecentralhs for years, proudly leading the golf team to the IL state championship year-after-year. when uncle jimmy died, one of the people who felt compelled to send a sympathy card was the golf coach of proviso east high school, whose team played in the same division as hinsdale central’s but hadn’t had a winning record in decades. appreciating the thoughtfulness of the coach’s note (he’d never met my uncle) and taking note of the golfers in gym shoes rather than golf shoes, my dad and his 4 other siblings, with support from my aunt ellen and cousins @lisacoonann & @bobdrewthat , decided to mark the gratitude with the ultimate tribute to my uncle and his love of the game.
on june 2nd, “THE JIMMY” raised over $60k in donations for the proviso east golf program - new clubs, new uniforms, new shoes, new bags, even admission for nike training camp - in an epic golf tournament/fundraiser at the country club that my dad technically belonged to, but that my uncle “invited” my dad to 😉.
reflecting on this father’s day weekend, i’m grateful for my dad and his ambition, his drive to honor his big brother’s namesake. i can’t relate directly with those whose dads no longer here with us, but i can say that their legacies live through you and your family, just like uncle jimmy’s does 🏌🏼♂️.
