🤯 pretty much sums up the whirlwind week. Long story short, I had less than a week to put together - from start to finish - Play It Forward. From event concept to graphic design to curating the panelist, I am still in disbelief that we somehow pulled it off. Every year for my birthday, I host some kind of fun charity fundraiser towards a cause that I am passionate about. Last year we did a polar bear swim for Canucks Autism Network and this year, I was so close to doing nothing. With work being insane and trying to plan other birthday activities, I was struggling to find the time to plan a fundraiser. But I knew that I would’ve been KICKING myself for the rest of my life if I didn’t - ESPECIALLY since it was for this milestone birthday. 🎂
So, I pulled my shit together and went into next level savage beast mode. Within days, I was somehow able to convince @therealcabbie, @calebpattersonsewell , @sam_effah, and @janicepong to join me on a speaker panel to have a conversation around the importance of sports in the lives of children following a bootcamp workout. If you know anything about me, you know I love my sports and working with kids so I am so glad I was able to contribute to @righttoplayintl and their initiatives. To the panelist, thank you SO much for participating and being such incredible human beings - I am truly in awe. I can’t wait to do more good with you guys in the future! Much love to the @fitfactoryto fam for hosting and letting me run with it and @mrmikeyhub for being a kickass instructor and friend. Thank you to everyone who showed up, you have NO idea what it means to me. 😭 Last but not least, to the person who I could not have pulled it off without. @dianabilyk you are one of the best people I know and I don’t know how I got so lucky that you came into my life. I love you and your perfect self forever. 🙏🏼
This is the first of what I hope will become my legacy one day, bringing people into the same space to create meaningful conversation and action around important issues we face on a community level and on a global scale. Together we can Play It Forward. If you wanna donate, link is in my bio. :) Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.
Today was the Driven Project Winter Cruise.
Over 50 kids from @childrenswishbc and @bcchf came out to experience a tour around Vancouver in one of 10 supercars.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped make this possible.
To the entire Driven Project team - I can't thank you enough for all of the effort you put into making this happen.
@momma_vee - you are a true rockstar, this never could have happened without you.
@mclarenvancouver, @wrapworkzvan, @lamborghinivan & @lotuscarsvan - thank you so much for lending your cars and your time to this event. You made amazing kids and families very happy today.
Huge props to @dorahjustina, @jpdrives, @landon.brown and @alec.choy for playing tour guide in their awesome cars on this classic rainy Vancouver day!
Major thanks to @globalbc, @CBC and to everyone else who came out to document the event.
Thumbs up to @thebig4media for putting shooting this amazing video.
@fairmontpacific was a most gratious and patent host for the Winter Cruise. Their team and venue went over and above, making the drivers, riders and media feel at home.
Stay tuned for more content on this amazing day.
The Driven Project continues to gain traction, and we've got our sites set on even bigger events in the coming year. Thanks to everyone for your support thus far, we're all in this together.

We wanted to thank everyone for contributing to such an amazing cause. We’re working on our next event and once we have some details ironed out, we’ll be in touch! Cheers!
You know what's awesome? When your family not only supports you, but also the #CHD community. My wife is leading the charge for #TeamGlenn at @childrensphila's annual Philly Spin-In in March. This event raises awareness for congenital heart disease and benefits CHOP's cardiac center. If you'd like to donate, the link is in my bio!
Hi, Naomi Watts here!
I have some awesome news to share! One of my favorite books is being published and will be going public in just a few short days! Being the important star that I am, I was invited to be in a private book club to read it first. Well let me tell you, if there’s a book you want to add to your Christmas list, this is the one! And because I love all my fans, I was able to talk the author into giving it away to you for FREE. Yes, I said FREE! If you preorder your copy at www.theministryofdog.com, you will receive a downloadable copy on December 21st. Are you excited? I know I am (my shadow is too 😆)! Our Christmas wish is that our followers and fans would consider donating a few dollars or however much you wish to Frankie and Andy’s Place when ordering your copy. This food book, A Simple No Nonsense Guide to Feeding Your Dog, was written to help dogs like me and owners like you know how to ensure that we are fed the best food to live the best and healthiest life we can.
PLEASE share with as many people as you can...this book is only free until December 31st!

🕯🌙🎶 Sweet Dreams 🎶🌙🕯 .
As Sunday night rolls in, keep your memories from the weekend underneath your pillow. Sip some tea, light a candle, put your phone away and play some sweet tunes. Close your eyes and feel the details in the music. Feel the synchronizing of your heartbeat, and the complex connections in your brain that allow you to vibe with it. You don’t have to do anything. Just breath, and be alive. Sweet dreams, dreamers. ☺️
@djredsonya played an amazing set after sundown at our Genius Loci Fundraiser in October. @connected_collective captured the details.
Thank you to everyone that bought tickets! We raised $1000 in ticket sales, and 100% of that goes to our members fees to help them pay for roller derby! So thank you to you all, and congrats to Savage, Lady, and Darren for winning our prizes! #sjrdl#fundraiser#prizes#christmasparty
"The $500 grant we received improved the quality of our conference tremendously. We wouldn’t have been able to put on this conference without this grant, and we think it really made a difference in the community by allowing people to educate themselves and others by giving them a sense of hope for change in the world." -8th-Grader Elizabeth Onofre, co-founder of @_.pifa._, which stands for Political, Intersectional, Feminist, Activists. PIFA is a group started by 8th-graders Elizabeth Onofre, Rose Rezac, and Lana Gillman at Alexander Graham Bell School. Their goal is to educate the students and spread awareness about topics like gentrification, mental health stigmas, food deserts, and LGBTQ+ issues, etc, and then finding ways to actively help with these issues. We are so honored to support work such as this by change-makers such as these incredible kids who are stopping at nothing for a kinder world.
Who says you can’t help everyone?
A few years ago I set out to give back to the children in the community I grew up in, in a meaningful way. After 3 years of building the foundation of One Magic Moment, today as a team, we gave 150 kids and guests a magical experience I hope they won’t soon forget.
We went from solely working with Verdun, to providing this fun filled day for children from under served communities all across MONTRÉAL!
Plus suprise visits from the champ @georgesstpierre and MasterChef winner @thegourmetrabbit are sure to be inspiring moments for the kids in attendance.
Stay tuned to see how we build this thing in 2019 to make One Magic Moment, One Magic Year.
A non profit dedicated to direct experiences, education and development of the youth that need it the most!
Just had my clock cleaned by a rabbi and a canter. #nojoke .
. . .
I had pocket aces (as did another player). We both went all-in before the flop. The canter stayed in for a flush draw and won! The rabbi assured me that God sometimes works in strange ways and sometimes . . . sometimes you just lose. 🙄 #fundraiser#allforagoodcause
