The muscles in and around the hand and wrist can get tight and compress the nerves which can lead to carpal tunnel like symptoms. Hand and wrist pain is something I treat quite often. ➡️Try stretching out through the forearms to release the tension down through the tendons that attach into the hand. ➡️Stretching through the pec muscles (chest muscles) can release tension down the chain of muscles ➡️Or get assessed to find out the root of the pain and get treated so you are on the right path of less pain and dysfunction.

HOW TO SQUAT AROUND AN INJURY 
How many of you have been told that the answer to your pain is to just stop lifting? 🖐🖐 You see, while some of you may need complete rest, most can have activities modified to continue and train. So let's take a look at a few examples. 
Typically, someone with pinching in the hip or someone with low back pain will benefit from a more ⬆ vertical torso. This can be achieved via bar position as well as increasing ankle mobility and letting the knees travel ➡ forward more. Front squats therefore often feel fine. 
Someone with a knee injury may prefer the opposite. Less knee travel and folding over more at the waist...so the low bar squat may suit them best as their pain subsides. 
These are only a few factors to consider. We can also modify ⏱ tempo, depth, and 📈 loading strategies to get you where you need to be. 
You don't have to give up what you love. The answer is MODIFICATION, NOT ELIMINATION. . .

At the end of the day, it’s got ZERO to do with the dumbass leader board, or who can do a muscle up and who can’t... but what amount of effort did you put out there?! Are you giving you all, because yourself is the only comparison that holds ANY weight at the end of the day. There are sooo many things you enjoy doing which make you feel good! Dancing, singing, going to the theatre, painting, reading, writing poetry, gardening, renovating, creating, meditating - you may have to dig deep but I promise you there are other things in life you enjoy alongside food 🍰🍫🍿🎂🍩🍷
