This is one of our favourite variations for the very common core exercise RUSSIAN TWIST! 🙌

With this variation, the key is to keep the upper body still while throwing the medicine ball. This allows your body to resist rotation and demand a higher level of core control than the traditional russian twist where the body rotates with the ball. To make the exercise harder, you can always:
✅ increase the leverage at the legs
✅increase the weight of the ball
✅do longer throws 
Remember to always increase only ONE variable at a time to ensure that you don't progress too quickly and risk geting injured! 💃 
I commonly prescribe this exercise as a high level exercise for those completing a rehab program for low back pain. Remember to always consult your physio about whether this exercise will be right for you!

Ryder lived in these swim trunks over the weekend. I liked how when we made stops in between our water adventures that it just looked like he was wearing a stylin pair of shorts. They are so versatile.

SINGLE ARM DUMBBELL SNATCH

My client @claude1370 performing the Single Arm Dumbbell Snatch.

This exercise is a dynamic, compound move that works your entire body and improves your speed and agility. This exercise helps  develop coordination as well as explosiveness, and strengthens your shoulders, lower back, hamstrings, glutes, and lats.

The Snatch is the ultimate test of mobility. It challenges the range of motion of almost every body part, particularly, the ankles, shoulders, and hips, more than perhaps any other exercise. A good squat and a good strict press does not necessarily translate into the perfect snatch, but a good snatch means you’ve reached some of the highest peaks of mobility. Train for the snatch, and many other movements will fall into place.

Our trainer said that no one had been able to complete this workout this week. Well turns out someone did, ME! I even went up in my weights 💪🏻 To say I’m proud of myself would be an understatement. I never trained because i wanted to look a sertian way. I always done it because it is fun and it keeps my mental health somehow in check. As i said it's never been about the looks, but how i feel.

Сама я-приверженец интуитивного питания. И калории сейчас не считаю.
Но я убеждена, что если вы встаёте на путь питания по голоду, считать калории поначалу необходимо.

У многих людей складывается мнение, что считать калории-сложно.
Вовсе нет. Просто это требует 5-7 минут вашего времени каждый день. Совсем немного, если учесть, что делаете это для достижения результата🤷🏼‍♀️

Итак, с чего начать?

Шаг 1.
Скачиваете приложение FATSECRET на свой мобильный телефон и вводите исходные данные.
Шаг 2.
Рассчитываете свою суточную калорийность в зависимости от цели, которую вы преследуете.
Шаг 3.
Определяете, сколько грамм белков/жиров/углеводов вам нужно употреблять в день.
Здесь всё целиком зависит от вашей цели!
Но, милые девушки, никогда не опускайте количество потребляемых жиров ниже 1 грамма на килограмм веса тела! То есть, если ваш вес-52 кг, то и жиров должно быть не менее 52 грамм в день.
Добавлю здесь, что даже интуитивное питание должно быть сбалансированно! От этого напрямую зависит ваш гормональный фон.
Шаг 4.
Вбиваете всю еду и её количество в приложение, которое автоматически посчитает вам КБЖУ.
Шаг 5.
Корректируете количество или продукты, если получился перебор или недобор по всем параметрам.

На мой взгляд-не сложно. 
И это не нужно будет делать всю жизнь! Очень скоро, вы будете уже визуально и интуитивно определять какой должна быть ваша порция.
При всём этом вы будете питаться вкусно и разнообразно. И, как бонус, достигнете своей цели 🎯 .

"Functional" training is one of the most misunderstood and overused training terms going around the fitness industry. Real functional training is NOT standing on a bosu ball doing curls or tieing bands to every single piece of equipment and performing exercises.

What it does involve is the foundational movements involved in training such as squats, lunges, carries, pushing, pulling and rotating. This will strengthen and build your body in a multitude of different movement planes which will also be a more balanced approach and reduce the chance of injury.

Ever heard of excessive lumbar lordosis? 🧐. It’s when the hip tilts anteriorly causing your lower back to have an excessive arch. Chronic “anterior pelvic tilt” (APT) can lead to chronic back pain. What’s the cause of APT? Tight hip flexors from chronic sitting? Or weak hip flexors from underuse? No compromise. Work on both!  The muscles especially around the hip and lower back all play a role in lower spine stability. It’s a good idea not to only work on the hip flexors, but the other muscles as well (hamstrings, quads, glutes, core etc included) for prevention and management of lower back pain 👍.
