Part A to another day in the gym. I love this workout. Depending on the time I have I might make it longer and add in some double-unders.⠀
With a small number of reps its a good chance to go heavy 💪🏻⠀
Anyone else love sweet potatoes as a pre-workout snack?? Ran over to the weekly #greenmarket at the World Trade Center to load up on healthy carbs to fuel workouts for the rest of the week. #athletefood
This is personally what I enjoy and what works for me right now, I am always learning and adapting knowledge so please feel free to share any information you may find relevant to this ✌️
However in the last 6 months my diet has changed from eating about 1200 calories per day with half of that being wasted on non nutrient rich foods and a lot of sugary drinks 😯
Now I enjoy roughly 1800 calories per day with everything but my coffee being nutrient rich foods in balanced meals.
With one day per week of roughly 1900-2000 calories 😉
⚖️ What's balanced for me?
Well I'm losing fat and gaining muscle so a good balance I've found for fueling but also recovery is half my meal is vegetables a quarter is non processed carbs and a quarter is lean protein. I have something protein rich 30 mins before and/or after my workouts and the rest is snacking on vegetables 😁
I don't drink a lot of soft drink anymore, or feel like cake everyday haha
Honestly it's nice to get your body to crave what it actually needs to grow and flourish 💕
