My food this week... starting with the most delicious BBQ’d cedar plank Salmon with veggie kabobs & Quinoa (this was 2 servings)— like Oh.Em.Geeeee so good! 🤤 Thanks #tiuhubby 😍💕😘 @traveesemo Also prepped a variation of the mango salsa with quinoa & baked chicken breast, some grapefruit for M2’s, the Beet Citrus Salad for M3 (sorry I ate most of these & THEN remembered to take a pic 🤗) & a Thai Shrimp Curry bowl with green beans & brown rice. Also (not pictured) were the snickerdoodle muffins for M1, pick me up chia seed pudding for M4 & all the PB & dark chocolate chips I shoved in my face after dinner tonight. 😬 Sometimes you just gotta give in to the cravings. 🤪 🍯🍫 (Noted: I think PB & dark chocolate are #strongertogether Nah mean? 😆) .

Hello y’all! I had another challenge meal today!!! We went to a hibachi and sushi place today (ngl I really don’t like sushi, but I got a big ole salmon meal! It was delicious and full of so many nutritional values and things to fuel my body! My body image was pretty crappy after this and still kind of is now but I’m just trying to keep my head up and know this is all going to help fulfill me in my athletic, academic, and just my future in general! I want to live a happy life, be fit, run fast, and be the best possible version of myself, because that’s why I was created. Not to fit a mold society or my mind created for me, but God’s vision. I firmly believe although it may feel impossible at times, if I work hard, eat right, and am a kind person, I will be my happiest, run fastest, think clearer, and radiate positivity to the world 🌍 Well I’m exhausted, but I hope everyone has a lovely night💕

Last night's #nightsnack was chocolate cake I baked yesterday morning 😋 no changes to the recipe! I used all the butter and all the sugar and all the chocolate that was required because I no longer want to eat diet versions. I want to be able to eat the real thing 💪🏼
So tomorrow's breakfast is brought by a @questnutrition protein bar again. Of course I used cookie dough because that's the best ever! Also, of course I'm sharing the recipe because that's the right thing to do!
Preheat oven to 375
Put Quest bar in oven for 6 minutes
Take out of oven and roll really thin between parchment paper
Use cookie cutter to cut into 4 to 6 circles
Put back in oven for 3 minutes for them to become more of a cookie texture
In a bain-marie melt 40 grams of mashed banana with 28 grams of fat free cream cheese and 1 tbsp of stevia
Take cookies out of oven and put mixture between the cookies
smash them together to make sandwich cookies
Macros for all 6 sandwich cookies:
266 calories of awesome

Sleeping beauty 🙌😌😴 ... it’s rare for me to be able to capture a moment like this, but today as we quietly and slowly settle back into Sydney mode, Sienna fell asleep in my arms and happily transferred in to her cot. The last eighteen months has most certainly reminded me of the transformative effects of good sleep, and overall, I’d say it’s definitely been the most challenging too, either because of little people waking or because my health was off kilter and affected my sleep. So, I guess attached to this beautiful little clip is a key reminder, a health and community service announcement if you will, if your sleep is off, work out why, and turn it around. If you need some help in navigating a path, feel free to reach out. I can’t solve the probs for you, but perhaps I can give some perspective and point you in the direction of someone in the health space who you might connect with.
