Transformations and changes do take TIME ⏱. But adhering to your workout, diets and cardio can certainly help you get there a bit faster. Rather than sticking to it strong for a couple days, setting yourself back for a couple days, picking up again and going strong, followed by days setting you back... you can see how this cycle would really just have you spinning your wheels, going in circles and making no significant jumps in progress towards the end goal. If you want to have an awesome transformation in less time, that means sticking to it EVERY day and not just the ones you feel like it or it's "convenient." __
Some things do take some work and sacrifice, weight loss and making changes to your physique is one of those things! You can make some awesome progress, but don't forget you're in control of how much you can make and maximize those changes!
My youngest is on a refined sugar free diet at the moment so I have decided to join her on it. The problem is she is the member of the family who enjoys sweeter things the most.... typical. So we have been finding alternatives for her in stores and making things at home. This is a hit!!! Say hello to some properly yummy vegan fudge that I discovered on the lovely feed by @oatmeal_stories 📷
Sweet potato chocolate fudge
1 medium sweet potato, cut in pieces and steamed
1/4 cup coconut cream (solid part from a chilled can)
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/2 tsp vanilla powder
pinch of salt
2 heaped tbsp peanut butter
75g dark chocolate
1 tbsp coconut oil
Blend all the ingredients except chocolate and coconut oil. I used a hand blender but a food processor will work too. Melt the chocolate with the tbsp of coconut oil. Let cool down a bit. Pour into the sweet potato mass and incorporate using a whisk. Transfer into a cake form lined with baking paper. Put in the freezer to harden. I kept it in the freezer overnight and in the morning it was perfect to cut and eat. I sprinkled it with a pinch of sea salt and shaved chocolate.
Pop tarts: Frosted Chocolate Fudge 🍫 - 🍫
Twin Rating: 3.7/5
The crust has a mild cocoa flavour that comes through slightly more as you keep eating, although it is rather bland. The texture Is flakey and crispy. In the middle there is a gooey fudge sauce, that if eaten straight from the toaster is warm and indulgent. The strong chocolate taste comes from this ‘frosting’ on the inside. It has a rich milk chocolate flavour, similar to a fudge sauce found on a sundae 🍦. The icing on the top adds a mild sweetness and light crunch. If you love chocolate, this is for you! 😍
