We are back, and with new wines!
After a long trip to come here the wines have settled well into our cellar for a couple of weeks and they are now ready to drink!

Da oggi in carta i vini di Domaine de Kalathas direttamente dall’isola di Tinos in Grecia, zero solfiti aggiunti per vini incredibilmente espressivi ed eleganti.

Last night was a blast 💥 .
Not only for the wines, which were incredible to say the least, but for the passion and love that @tarlant puts both in making the wines and in sharing and explaining them to others. It is really rare to learn so much from someone in such a short amount of time. Thank you so much @tarlantmel and @malakunin for making last night so special.
New arrivals from Languedoc!
This is the third #brutal wine we have had at @epiroroma and I have to say, I really love the project 🤘🏻🍷🍇 The myth of Sisyphus: “Finally captured, the gods decided on his punishment for all eternity. He would have to push a rock up a mountain; upon reaching the top, the rock would roll down again, leaving Sisyphus to start over.”
These grapes had already fermented by the time we finished harvesting the last ones. So once we were done harvesting we went back to the cantina to do what here is called "rompere il cappello" which literally means breaking the hat.
When this (white) grape is kissed by the sun in its exposure it turns pink, this was harvested yesterday for the Ortaccio winery in Latera and it was perfectly ripe, the taste was full and the sugars high (due to the very hot summer). Cant wait to try the wine 🍾🍇🍷
