Are you on TEAM CJ? 😆
I will admit, when I first started seeing it on my feed about 2 years ago, I was confused as to why anyone would want to drink it. To most people celery is considered a diet food, not a superfood. But then, I saw more posts with details of the celery juice benefits, and last October, so desperate to get better, I decided to try it. What were the risks? It’s just buying celery!
I started out small by just making it on the weekends, blending and trying to squeeze the juice out. It was always less than 1/2 a cup, so I added water, thinking the more I have, the better! 😂 As @medicalmedium followers know, the best way to drink CJ is 1st thing in the morning on an empty stomach, straight.
Still, I felt better immediately, and started to make it daily. I had serious digestive issues previously, where I was eating plant based, enough to feed a family of 6, yet bc of my malabsorption, it was undigested and I was skinny as a rail. Since reading AW’s first book, I now know that after a traumatic incident at work a few years ago, the stress/anxiety had damaged my body so much, it completely depleted my HCL and damaged my adrenals (for 4 yrs!). I still remember how hopeless I felt, and how I cried after reading the book where he explained the causes/WHY I was experiencing these issues, and assuring us that we can heal. And I have been. And every day, it gets better.

I like to prepare my celery the night before, by trimming the ends and washing each stalk, then put them in a bowl with water for the stalk ends, to keep it fresh. Then in the AM I chop/juice. It has helped me so much..it truly is a miracle juice 😊

[P] Eat your water 💦 🍈 😍 winter melon, so juicy and with a pumpkin flavor.
Traveling to a foreign country as a vegan can definitely have its challenges. Add in raw vegan to the mix and it can really make finding food difficult. So stoked I was able to stock up on @_noshbar before I left, because these bars are life savers! My girl, Michele, puts only the best, whole food ingredients in them, plus tons of love! They are great for pre or post workout, or [if you’re like me] nowhere near a workout as a delicious snack! 🙏💕#justthegoodstuff#vegantravel
Breaking the fast with celery juice 💚
Today’s day 20 of my liquid fast and I’m really proud of myself to be honest. I started out just doing a 3 day but then went to 5, to 7, to not setting a real limit. The funny thing is that my 11th day was on 11/1, my 12th on the 2nd, 13th on the 3rd (and so on and so forth) and my 21st day will be tomorrow on 11/11 ✨ I’ve considered tomorrow being my last day but there’s also a part of me that could go on longer! I only crave eating when I’m tired (my body yelling out for more energy) so I’ve recognized this and try to honor my body and rest as much as possible. It’s really hard when I’m at work and get tired though because I’m surrounded by organic vegan food but I haven’t caved. I’ve changed my mindset and a huge, simple reminder I tell myself is “food is ALWAYS going to be there whenever I want.” There have been ups and downs and am so happy with this experience. During this time I’ve realized what I want to do with my life and can visualize where I’m going. This past year I’ve learned so much and changed so much (more so than when I was in college)... I’m realizing all of this change/experiences that I’ve encountered this year really has prepped me for who I want to be and who I am becoming. It’s beautiful. Shoutout to the Scorpio in me LOL
This is how I feel about #FRUIT . Staring at it with adoration. 🍉🍌🍊🍓🍇🍎🍍
I didn't eat fruit for 7 YEARS apart from some blueberries on the rare occasion. 😢
I was convinced carbohydrates were the enemy and that they would feed the pathogens inside my body that were causing severely debilitating chronic health issues. I was constantly told by holistic health professionals that carbohydrates were detrimental to my health and that they must be avoided at all costs. 😫
It wasn't until I discovered the work of @robertmorsend & @medicalmedium and began following their protocols strictly that my health began to improve dramatically. I noticed results within days. 😄😭
Fruit saved me, truly. It has been a journey of letting go of the fear of fruit. Realising that any previous negative reactions to this healing food were due to what I was eating either before, after or combining with the fruit. There are some basic rules that need to be followed when consuming fruit ~
Eat fruit alone or leave it alone. 🍌
One exception is leafy greens and greens powders or a squeeze of lime on a papaya. 🍋
Melons should always been eaten alone and before other fruits. 🍉
Eat fruit on an empty stomach and preferable earlier in the day before any other heavy meals are consumed. 🥔
Have you experienced discomfort from combining fruit with other foods? Did you ever avoid fruit?
This photo was taken at one of my favourite places in the world @tropicalfruitworld 🙌
Don't worry we didn't steal the avocado. 🥑
CELERY JUICE 🌿 Have you had yours today?
I am noticing a huge difference in my digestive function drinking this juice every morning on an empty stomach.
I am one of many who have suffered from low hydrochloric acid levels and this juice certainly appears to be helping. The mineral salts found in celery juice increase the crucial acids present in our stomach. These acids break down the food we consume (along with digestive enzymes and bile further along in the digestive process) so we can absorb and utilise the nutrients in the food and they also protect us from invading pathogens. 🙅♂️
Celery juice also supports the brain and nervous system, calms inflammation and kills viruses & bacteria. It hydrates the body on a deep cellular level. 💧
