You know just making sure I pack the essentials for my camping trip ⛺️ 🌲☀️😂. I LOVE Snacks. Like L-O-V-E them. If they are in front of me they are pretty much guaranteed to get eaten🤷🏻♀️. Mindless eating is a habit I am trying to break out of🙈. I am being more intentional about what foods I chose to put into my body and It’s definitely harder than it sounds.
That is why it’s super important I pack lots of fruits and veggies🥕🌱 🥗🍎🌻🥜. This at least gives me the option to make healthier choices. 🤗
Not to worry—I totally have fixings for chips and salsa, chicken dogs 🌭, burgs🍔 and s’mores🍫. I like to eat healthy but I also like to enjoy all the yummy camping foods too😋. Most people go with the 80/20 rule- I don’t necessarily follow that I just make sure to eat a ton of fruits and veggies and whatever else my heart desires. It’s this thing called balance and I’m totally digging it 😝😜.

Forget everything you think you know about eating.
We are keenly habitual by nature, but more so, we are culturally programmed, to do things we have always done. When it comes to food let go of those things you are used to and try something new.
Just bought seasonal, local kale and baby cukes, eating them as is, its a great way to connect to the food. The flavours, the nutrients, the blessing of food, becomes part of a meditative eating experience. Appreciation and gratitude in each bite.
May sound exteme to eat like this, but a healthy relationship with food is not something we've learned to have. In todays world we must take our health into our own hands. And teach our children all we learn.
