Another cookbook being added to the collection! Highly recommend it! I’ll be pumping out a few new recipes to share with you all. If you’re healthy enough to be able to enjoy animal proteins, live it up! For those that are battling and overcoming right now, the evidence is overwhelming that the higher percentage your nutrition is based on plant foods, the faster the human body heals. Everyone’s balance is different. That is my ultimate goal with all this. To get people back to balance, healing, and understand that diets/belief systems on nutrition make people fit in a box. The reality is every person is different, their life, their support, their career, their toxicity, their goals, etc. We should shape nutrition to a person, not the other way around. To be clear I’m not against a person eating animal protein if their body is healthy enough to handle it, but our society is over abundant in protein, and under developed in fruit, vegetables, and fiber. I hope recipes I share from this cookbook bring back balance to your dinner plate. My belief system is what’s best for someone’s healing, it’s important you all know this and don’t place me in a box! Also if you’re a split household, I’d recommend making plant based meals always, and prepare animal protein on the side for children or spouses. It can be added in after the dish is finished or left separate. This is the reality in a home trying to heal from chronic illness. Literally all meals in these cookbooks can be both. My fave pancake recipe evaaaa🙌🏼 full of protein, energy and nutrients to keep you really full and fuel your workouts💪🏼
-1/2 cup oats
-15 almonds (& optional 1 brazil nut)
-tbsp chia seeds (optional)
-tbsp flax seeds
-tsp maca powder (optional)
-1/2 scoop vegan vanilla protein powder
-tsp baking powder
-1/2 cup plant milk
-Blend all the ‘dry’ ingredients together (this doesn’t include the dates or banana)
-add the ‘wet’ ingredients and blend
-wait 5 mins for the recipe to thicken up from the chia and flax
-fry for 2 mins at medium heat on either side
-top with your fave sauce, fruit, nuts, seeds etc!! I used pb2, strawberries, goji berries, mulberries, hemp, chia & coconut chips!
