I miss my grandmother. She was one of my absolute most favorite people...Sweetest lady, but not afraid to tell you her opinion. 😂 So many of my best childhood memories have her in them and today I just miss her. 😭 She left this world shortly after we found out I was pregnant with Mattie and I sometimes find myself daydreaming of what life would be like if she was still with us. I think about how she would love on my babies and how she would giggle her sweet little laugh at all the crazy things they did. 🤗 .
I look at this picture and I think of what she was like at my age... by 32, she was already a mama to 6 😳😳😳!!! She got an earlier start than I did and she did a better job of spacing them out, but I still have no idea how she handled all those kids. 🤷🏻♀️She was the ultimate super mom and I will be proud to be at least half the mama she was to her babies. 😊
So, I worked out with the 5;30 class again tonight... it’s becoming one of my favorite classes of the week! 💪🏼 I’ll be heading out bright and early with @mtaylormay tomorrow for a 10 miler before “open gym” @fitpeople.al 🎉💪🏼 This week was a good week, but I’m thankful for the weekend and a little time off with my crazy little family.

100kgs baby for 3 reps!!! Felt f’n awesome. Strength circuit was crazy leg day style lol those lunges hurt like a b**ch. had to do 1 min planks as roll outs is not something my shoulder likes. It sounded like a GREAT idea last night! When the alarm went off this morning, not so much 😴 Luckily I knew @slandacre and @melissalahaie would kick my butt if I backed out! Sometimes morning workouts are a struggle but it feels so good to get it done and charges me up for my day!

Happy birthday @emilygolles, you are incredible. I’ve seen you get so fit and amazingly strong. I hope you have a fantastic day and are spoilt like you deserve. Lifted a nice 100kgs for 4 reps. First time doing Nordics and I was so scared of hurting my shoulder I don’t think I did them very well. 3 rounds was killer but then to end on 34 burpees and sit-ups each. It took about 45 min which is about how long most of my workouts take (45-60 min). You dont need to spend forever in the gym if you train with intensity and purpose 👌💦 happy Friday ya'll 💕💕
It was a rough morning. I’ve had 2 days back on my medication for my pituitary tumor because my levels were super high, higher than when they first tested me. Adjusting back to it is difficult it causes headaches nausea dizziness restlessness....
But I got up and put on my “yeah no don’t put me down for cardio” racerback and dontchaknow it’s cardio day 🤦🏼♀️ #spiteful number 3 workout in the books!
These workouts have been intense for me and everyday feels like cardio because there basically 30 min HIIT but I guess today was extra jumpy 😩❌🐸
It about killed me but I did it. Also, i suck pretty hard at making those ropes bounce! Ha! 😅 Don’t know how I will make my morning workout but I’m going to! I CLAIM it and OWN it now because I know tomorrow morning I won’t want to get up 😆
My breakfast consisted of sautéd spinach on the side of 0% Greek yogurt with 3/4 c berries and some cinnamon spice 🍓🥄 after shower I’ll down my protein shake 🥛

Today hasn’t exactly been the #friyay I was really hoping for... .
This Friday, felt more like a pretty crappy Monday to be honest. 😑
But, even though I didn’t really feel like it, I pushed myself, and go in a workout!!! 💪🏼 so! #workoutdone ✔️ .
Tomorrow will like be a rest day... 💤 I may convince my #workoutpartnerforlife to take me to the Zoo! .
And just because: here are some random facts about me! .
1. I am a complete beach bum! I love the saltwater, surf, sand, beach combing, fishing, snorkeling... pretty much anything you can do in salt water, and I am there! .
2. I have one tattoo, of mermaid scales on my thigh... I love them, and hope to add more scales to them soon! .
3. I am a passionate, hobbyist photographer! @watercolorsphotographytx is my portrait photography page! There is something so rewarding about capturing someone’s portrait and seeing them pleased & excited about it! .
4. I LOVE to bake, but rarely eat much of what I bake!!! I usually end up giving away most of anything I ever bake... or my boyfriend eats it all 🤣 except, lately I have discovered my own take on almond flour chocolate chip cookies. And they are THE BOMB!!! .
Now, let’s make tomorrow a better day!!!! .
This past year has really been pushing me, I made a decision I absolutely regret, and now I’m having a HELL of a time getting back on track 😖 I’m not seeing the results I want or know I could be seeing, but I’m not letting it stop me. 🙌🏻 my body doesn’t handle my emotions very well, and while I’m not an emotional eater, I tend to NOT eat instead. Any sign of anxiety, I bloat with weight gain and don’t always lose it all, I don’t want to work out, but with the accountability of my group, I push myself! 💪🏻

“I want to inspire people....I want someone to look at me and say, because of you I DIDN’T GIVE UP.” For me, I needed to find my way back to being healthy and fit again. I felt lost and this time around I thought about icing up. Thankfully I found a coach (actually she found me😉) to get me back on track.
But mostly, she's guided me, inspired me, and because of her I didn’t give up. Through this coaching process. She's not given up on me even though I have given up on myself and she's never let me quit.
Through coaching I've grown (still have a lot of growing to do) and I've learned a lot through this process .
Now I just keep doing what I'm doing...ME! And watch the magic happen in the process. ✨
