Meet our new Roo! With free ranging our flock and the significant losses last year we decided to give a rooster a try but little did we know we'd end up with 3! One of our bantams turned out to be a rooster, we purposely ordered a Welsummer rooster for their unique colors and this "suppose to be hen" turned into a rooster.
He's just learning to crow and is already protecting the ladies - from Rich. 😂 They may have had a scuffle last night locking up. Otherwise, we're liking the new additions! Do you have a rooster in your flock?
