Trabalho assim...felizona! Essa sou eu! ✌🏼♥️

@Regran_ed from @judicialwatch - NEW: Judicial Watch’s team (including Judicial Watch’s Director of Investigations Chris Farrell and Judicial Watch’s investigative journalist Irene Garcia) is in the air and on the ground in Guatemala reporting on the migrant caravans in Central America – comprised of many thousands of individuals – that are moving north toward Mexico and the United States.
Judicial Watch’s Director of Investigations reported from a police checkpoint outside Chiquimula in Guatemala that over 3500 migrants have been stopped and turned away by the Guatemalan government at the Honduran border, loading many on buses and sending them back to Honduras.
Judicial Watch’s team on the ground also reported that the migrant caravan that was turned back at the Honduran border included migrants from Haiti, Congo, Sri Lanka, Angola, Cameroon, and Bangladesh. Judicial Watch’s team also reports that “the human wave is overwhelmingly white males – an invasion without uniforms – and that the leftist media narrative is false: women and children are a super-minority.” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton: “President Trump can't deploy the military soon enough to secure our border and he should offer military assistance to Guatemala (logistics, medical, comms, etc.) so that Guatemalan resources can be freed up to block ‘caravans’ at the Honduran border.

👊 Philip Anschutz - Connector: Railroads, Qwest, Entertainment
"I've always been intellectually curious. I like to research how and why things are, and imagine how they might change. Specifically, I look for industries in transition and try to anticipate opportunities that could arise from changes in underlying fundamentals. So far I've had decent timing when it comes to certain businesses, such as energy, railroads and telecom. Deregulation changed the railroad and telephone industries. When I was running Southern Pacific, we realized that railroad rights-of-way were perfect paths to lay fiber-optic cables. So we started Qwest to lay important portions of the early backbone of the internet. I got a little nervous when Qwest had over $1 billion of fiber in the ground and no customers, but it wasn't long before we went from selling voice by the minute to selling data by the gigabyte. With the rise of the digital world, I believed demand would grow for live analog entertainment like sports and music, so we started building and acquiring more than 100 unique venues, like the L.A. Staples Center and the O2 London, along with music, entertainment and teams to play in them like the Kings, Lakers and Galaxy. While the underlying concept was developing well-located real estate, the critical strategy was content."

How much longer do you need to study that thing? Watch someone else who’s more of an expert than you do that thing? Before you actually do that thing?!
Do it today (ok tomorrow if it involves daylight and you’re in London like me right now!)
Almost two years ago to this date. I watched a documentary called earthlings. The documentary changed my life.
It showed me the fear, the pain, the terror, the mistreatment, and the abuse innocent animals suffer at our hands. I was directly participating in their killing by consuming their flesh. I was paying for that grave injustice.
My heart bled all the way through, I could barely stomach what I witnessed, but I watched the 90 min documentary twice, back to back. I deserved a second viewing for being so ignorant as to how my food actually made it’s way on to my plate.
I became a vegan part of the way through that documentary. After what I witnessed, I could never eat meat again. I was now fully aware that what I had been participating in was so wrong. My eyes had been prized open. I have always claimed to love animals but at that point I realised I couldn’t possibly love animals and eat them simultaneously. It made no sense.
I began to research the health implications of eating meat and found countless studies proving the negative effects of meat and dairy consumption to our health. It all began to make sense. I’ve lost countless family members and the closest of friends to cancer. My sweet Mother, my best friend, the closest uncles and aunts. It was the food. Looking at their cancer types and the research conducted, I have no doubt.
Undoubtedly there are other factors that play a part in the contraction of illness and disease, but there is no denying that consuming animal products will increase your risk of many cancers. Let’s not leave out the worlds no1 killer heart disease, diabetes, strokes, dementia, and every other major disease plaguing our species.
The research continues and with it hundreds more reasons emerge as to why vegan. In becoming vegan I have lost nothing, I’ve simply stopped taking what wasn’t mine to take in the first instance. The lives of animals do not belong to me. We are all species on this earth and as such have the right to live.
Going vegan is to make a conscious choice to lead a life of love and compassion, a life in which I cause the least amount of harm possible.
That’s ‘Why Vegan’. My question for you?
It’s always up to us.
Ask yourself, what is inside my heart space right now?
Negative energy comes from a place of unhappiness and a lack of harmony between our inner and outer worlds.
Sure, we can have off days...but the question is, what do you do to gear shift when this happens?
Some quick ways are...
•Mindful breathing-Long slow deep elongated breaths for at least 10 counts
•Meditation-even a quick guided 10 minute meditation can press our reset button
•Exercise-dispersing built up energy or emotion and pushing this up and out of our bodies can work magic
•Take a walk in nature, or take your shoes off and walk or sit on the earth or grass to ground.
•Laughter-humour really can move stuck emotion. Watch some comedy. There’s nothing like a decent belly laugh.
•Hug-don’t be afraid to say to a friend, lover or your child, “I’m having a shitty day, can I have a big hug?” Give people the chance to know what’s going on inside for you, so you own it. The bonus is, two of you feel better after!
•Creative expression-Writing, cooking, dancing, painting, drawing, singing, playing an instrument can really shift negative energy and stuck emotions in a healthy way.
What do you do to shift the vibes when you aren’t feeling 100%?
Love Nic 💓
