she was tall and slender with long dark hair that swung in a shiny ponytail from one shoulder to the other, her dress swirling beneath her cinched waist.
he thought suddenly of watermelon. it was hard to come by back in scotland but even before he’d ever tasted one in the flesh it had reminded him of summer (which was also hard to come by back in scotland)
he knew what watermelon tasted like now; it was one of his favorite things. he could almost feel it in his mouth as he stood there, that cold sweat powerful explosion of almost nothing. he needed to find a slice as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Little Griffin is doing great and has been in his foster home for a little over a week! We had to remove his rear left foot due to his injury but he is healing well and bottle feeding like a champ!! #fttf#puppy#forlorn#puppiesofinstagram#specialneeds *We are not yet taking applications on Griffin since he is still so young*
As he sidled over to the edge of the lawn, he was certain of only one thing; that he had arrived at a turning point, that nothing could ever be the same. He collapsed, his mind wandering, his eyes blearily searching the endless expanse in front of him, on all the worlds he would never know. In quiet desperation, he asked himself "When, oh when, is the next show?" and knew there was no response awaiting him. Alas, the truth was nearer to his grasp then he could imagine, as @kleptokratband would indeed play again, the following evening, the 7th of December in the year 2018, at the home of the @gutterbar, 8pm sharp, with lots of other bands. And it would be gnarly.
See Oriflame customers argue over who is first in queue at Oriflame NIGERIA in Ikeja. ***
What a shame? Nigerians are always treated like animals even for their own money. We grew up to hear that the customer is King, but in this case it is different. The prices of Oriflame products in Nigeria are the same with what Oriflame UK sells to British people, but the quality of customer service in Milton Keynes in London cannot be compared with what a Oriflame consultant was allegedly exposed to today.
The high level of nonchalance witnessed among Nigerian business has suddenly caught up with Oriflame NIGERIA.
Nigerians should stand up to be treated equitably and justly. How do you suffer to buy products with your hard earned cash and yet be exposed to inconvenience and embarrassment. The customers are looking forlorn and helpless as they wait hopelessly to get their beauty care products. Citizens of other countries will not take this.
One of the respondent said she is been on queue for up to 9 hours, yet can't get her products.
One of the workers at the customer desk said the reason for the worsening queue is that they don't have enough staff. One wonder why a company that is breaking profit margins in less that four years in Nigeria in what took other countries more than 10 years to achieve would complain of shortage of staff, when as a nation we have an army of unemployed youths. #oriflame#oriflamenigeria#service#poorservice#nigerianstyle#customerservice#forlorn#slave#unemployed#wakeup#wakeupandmakeup

Anybody that has ever travelled via FRANKFURT airport knows that even for a grown up able to speak the language this place is intimidating. Now imagine an insecure teenager, separated from his family and not able to communicate trying to find his departure gate in time. •
I still remember the anxiety that overcame my entire chest. I was numb and all surrounding voices were reduced to a remote white noise as I was roaming around trying to orient myself. It was the ultimate feeling of being helpless and forlorn. •
Prior to my departure in Tehran my uncle gave me a 20 DM bill, just in case I got lost so I could contact someone. But how should I use the public phone that only took coins with a bill? I was terrified. As I was wandering around I suddenly perceived a few Persian words and knew this was probably my only chance to avoid an upcoming catastrophe. •
I pushed my fears with all the power I had left to the side and tried to locate the source of the landsmen that I had just heard. Suddenly nobody spoke Farsi around me anymore and I started to believe that I had had some kind of acoustic illusion. •
But then I saw them. A couple also looking around for their gate. I ran over and asked for help. They asked where my parents were and I told them that I am on my own and that my flight to West-Berlin departed very soon. They smiled and said I should just follow them as they were on the way to the same destination. I thanked them a few times and made sure I didn’t lose them again. •
I remember sitting in the PAN-AM plane, super thirsty from all the stress and not getting any drinks as I thought I had to pay and at the same time happy that I had managed to get the plane. •
To be continued... .

In the dark room I stay, quiet, still. I hide away, so no one can see the sadness in my eyes. Alone I hide, darkness awaits. Forlorn, bereft, I feel myself falling into the abyss of my own making. I stay very quiet, so very still, close to crying, in the dark empty room, and let the darkness come in. #dark#quiet#sadness#alone#forlorn#abyss
