Something Doctors in the US don’t want you to know: Antibacterial Function of the foreskin -
To help fight harmful bacteria, the foreskin supports a rich flora of beneficial bacteria. Friendly bacteria exist in a symbiotic relationship with the body and are found on all body surfaces and through the gastrointestinal, genitourinary tract (the urinary system that runs from the kidneys, through the bladder, and out the penis), and the mouth. Friendly bacteria also thrive in the eyes. Without the presence of friendly bacteria, the human body would be vulnerable to attack from pathogenic bacteria. The good bacteria that live in the inside of the foreskin are similar to the bacteria found in the mouth, nose, the female genitals, and the skin in general. It must be stressed that this good bacteria is both harmless and highly beneficial. Without these friendly bacteria, the urethra would become an easy entry point for germs and harmful stains of bacteria, which could cause disease. I’ve heard some arguments that the more we condemn medically unnecessary infant male circumcision the more we cause shame to those men who have been circumcised. I can understand that, trust me. However, we cannot let that stop us from spreading the message. For one, the stigma in the US about intact men is far worse. THEY are often the ones shamed and ridiculed simply for being unaltered. Also, there are so many comparisons to make in the medical field that should help people understand the nature of the issue. For instance - if a child is born missing a finger or even an arm we do not withhold from them this fact. We simply help them adapt to this. Finding a way to prevent this from happening to other children does not diminish that child. They may in fact feel shame that they were born incomplete. That’s okay, we can help them learn to cope. But we cannot let that stop us from ensuring no other child has to experience that if at all possible.

These shapes are unique to the intact penis. The way the prepuce tapers into bunched up wrinkled skin at the tip, just like the folds and wrinkles of the labia. Then, the silhouette is angular and almost forms somewhat of an isosceles trapezoid at the tip of the semi erect state. The contours of the glans are visible underneath the skin and cast beautiful shadows at certain angles of light. When fully erect, the skin is bunched up right behind the glans and and show parallel creases/lines like an accordion. It’s a whole different dynamic than that of the circumcised phallus. One that deserves admiration and appreciation for the purposeful design implemented by Mother Nature
