had a chance to stop by chinatown yesterday and we had to try out @mecchamatcha because we are big matcha fans! and we love it!!! the “yuzu blended” has the best combination of yuzu and matcha ice cream🥤the “level 3 matcha ice cream” is da bomb due to its 55% of premium matcha 🍨 going to come back for sure!
いただくます！Checked out @aburimnl in Ortigas this afternoon 😄 They have this selection on the menu that’s a mix of two different sushi (we tried the spicy tuna + spicy salmon, second photo), a different take on the California Maki, and something called Chicken Karaage Teriyaki👌🏽Worth checking out if you’re looking for some place new 😄
With 2 restaurant outlets, Ginza Steak offers you a 7 course meal experience with 1 course being refillable wagyu beef. For the12,000 yen (inclusive of tax) price tag, you get:
* Foie gras and truffle balls
* Teppanyaki scallop with an emulsion of grapefruits and tomatoes
* Cold potage of garlic and almonds
* A5 Kuroge Wagyu Today’s Special Cut
* A5 wagyu shimohuri and akami teppan steak (refillable)
* Garlic Rice and A5 Wagyu Beef Soup
* Ice cream with fruit sauce.
It’s important to note that while you can go for a cheaper course at 5,800 yen excluding tax, that course does not let you choose between shimohuri and akami cuts and is only for akami cuts.
It’s also important to note that while the entire course is 2 hours, your beef session is probably 30 minutes to 1 hour. So don’t expect 2 hours of full beef galore. It might not be the cheapest, but for the quality and value, the price tag is not too bad.
Reservation is needed so that they can prepare the meats to meet demand so be sure to reserve before you go!
