The Mr Meng guy who hosts the popular 'If You Are the One' Chinese dating show can also do a damn good bowl of spicy noodles! One of the best spicy noodles I've had 😋 Its spiciness is the super fragrant but lip numbing type - it's really addictive. Don't slurp these noodles too fast though or you might have a coughing fit from all the spicy aromas (I've learned how to eat this without coughing my lungs out now 😅). The braised beef is also very tender and delicious. To cool down from all the intense spice, you can also grab one of their rice pudding desserts. I personally really enjoy it as it is something I would call a 'gentle dessert'. By that I mean it's quite mild in flavour, but is enjoyable to eat because its flavour is soft on the tongue and gives you a feeling of comfort. Price wise, noodles were $15.50, and the pudding was $4-5 (I forgot exact price). Decently priced, there's a good amount of meat in the noodles and it tastes awesome. I've been here twice and I got the same thing twice because it was so good 😁 Next time I'll actually try something different.
Haha, every time I look at a food photo, I really want to eat it, ugh 😂

Going “native” at Black Label @burgerproject for lunch today. Roo patty with usuals plus beetroot and lemon myrtle mayo! Didn’t manage to spill beetroot down the front of my top either. Win! #burgerproject

Pad Thai + chicken + carrot + other veggies + just a casual bamboo leaf .
FUN FACT: There’s a scientific reason why Pad Thai is so delicious, because it hits the 5 flavours of the mouth.
Recipe time .. lots of peeps are asking for my recipes to my photos so here’s one of my fav low carb dinners... #my#food#shopping @aldi_ireland #getting#skinny#lowcarb#dinner#tbt#instagram#instapic#fresh#love#homemade#foodie#weightlossjourney#tbt#repost#nofilter#foodstagram#instafood#thefeedfeed#eattheworld#foodgawker#foodblogfeed#buzzfeast#Cook#family#f52grams#thekitchn#foodiesinsydney .... Let’s cook.. 190g pork mince or beef mince
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix altogether in a bowl, roll into 6/8 bite size balls, cover and refrigerate for 1 hour
For the sauce
½ medium red onion very thinly sliced (use a peeler to shave the onion it's so easy)
1 ½ tsp good olive oil
¾ cup passata (purée tomatoes)
1 tsp tomato paste/purée/concentrate
1 cup frozen mixed peppers or fresh
1 glove garlic peeled and finely chopped
Sprig of fresh oregano (about 10/12 leaves) or ¼ tsp dried oregano, fresh if possible. Right now turn the stove top on to a medium heat, add a splash of olive oil to a medium pan add onions & garlic sauté for 1 min , add purée and passatta, peppers & oregano, cook for a further 5 mins set aside
2 zucchini/courgettes washed and spirilized
You can buy them ready to go in most supermarkets however I’m an Aldi chick, the best prices ever so I buy them whole & do them myself. To assemble, add the meat balls to the sauce & heat through, just before your ready to serve add the zoodles & heat for no longer than 1 minute as you still want to keep the zoodles “al dente” but still you want them hot like traditional and spaghetti !
Isn’t this photo just so satisfying 😂
Tropical Sundae + mango + whipped cream + vanilla icecream + banana icecream + mixed berry + waffle cone from @paragoncafe.
FUN FACT: The most eaten fruit around the world is MANGOS.
