In my class this Tuesday at the @nashvillefarmersmarket, we’ll make two delectable ice cream flavors; lemon buttermilk and mint chocolate chip. You’ll get to see the difference between making a custard base for a rich lemon buttermilk ice cream that perfectly combines lemon and tangy buttermilk and a cold base for a minty refreshing mint chocolate chip ice cream. We’ll use fresh locally grown mint. Each participant will receive a generous sample of each flavor and will leave the class confident they can make their own fresh ice cream at home.

Today's lunch is all about simplicity & is our version of fast food. We are enjoying a variety of charcuterie on a baguette slathered with real butter & topped with pickled peppadew. Oh....and it is all drizzled with a local whiskey infused honey. I will take this any day over a fast food burger.

They call it Portafoglio di Nutella, which basically translates to 🍫 "Nutella wallet". It's the classic, flavourful and chewy Neapolitan pizza crust, folded in half, filled with Nutella and crunchy pistachios, and topped with powdered sugar!
In Naples, you can find "al portafoglio" as a street food, to eat on the go. Not with Nutella, though 🤣 that must be a nice Brazilian touch, as we loooove dessert pizza.
