• My siblings and I made a cozy batch of pad thai with the ingredients we had at home and it turned out soooo good!
• rice noodles + broccoli + red bell pepper + egg + marinated tofu + peanuts + pad thai sauce + red pepper flakes + limes
Saturday sweat sesh ✅
Felt a little sluggish today after some indulging last night at a Holiday party, but we’re back on track today.
It’s all about the balance my friends! Your lifestyle and how you take care of your body daily outweighs those once-in-a-while indulgences.
And that’s just it; Make it a LIFESTYLE and you won’t have to feel guilty or restricted anymore. .
It's crazy how a animals natural instinct is to hunt/kill/survive.. yet here is this big love only caring to play with a ball and cuddle at night.. Then we have Humans, who's natural instinct should be to love/care/nurture, yet most do the opposite, greed and pride over powers the mind.. Life is a crazy ride, never know what it will throw you... One thing I do know is no matter what I will grow, stand up for what I believe in and love those who need it. Love conquers all. I have my father by my side, I know he is always there. He will show me. He knows the truth.

Made this with already cooked rice noodles cuz i had some leftover, was so freaking good w/ the coconut milk+red curry
All Ingredients 👇
Rice noodles (apx. 100g uncooked)
200g frozen mukimame
100ml coconut milk
1 Fresh Chili 🌶
1 Clove Garlic
1 Knob Ginger
1/2 Red Onion
1tsp sesame oil for frying
1tbsp red curry paste
785Calories 29f 29p 101c
(y’all can use light coconut milk if ya want🤪 if the fats are too high)

What a difference a few months makes (along with healthy eating)! It was tough to find a full-length pic of me because I hated having my picture taken before 😬. I am certainly not afraid to be front and center in pictures anymore!
The first pic was at the end of the Hood to Coast Relay (so excuse my disheveledness 🤪). I trained hard before-hand and I finished, but the extra weight definitely slowed me down. Even with all the running, I still was not healthy or fit. Now I run and move much easier 💖.
I am so much happier and more comfortable and cannot wait to see what this year brings and what I can accomplish!

How to eat LIKE A BOSS at holiday parties 🎄
We all know the unpleasant feeling of holiday bloat. Luckily, there’s a few things you can do to have enjoy your party and all the food there without all the suffering of holidays past!
1️⃣ Eat meals beforehand
DO NOT FAST UNTIL THE PARTY! This leaves you starving by the time you get any food in your sight, and you fill your plate with your eyes instead of your stomach, then you eat too much on a binge and the rest is history 😅 Eating one or two small meals before your party is a great way to prevent this.
2️⃣ Drink water
Staying hydrated helps your digestion, and also helps your appetite. Staying hydrated will also help your body process any drinks/cocktails you have.
3️⃣ Don’t hang out by the snacks
You’re less likely to mindlessly snack if the finger foods are not within reach.
4️⃣ Move your body
Not only is walking around or even some dancing going to be good for your metabolism, but it will also help you better digest all of your goodies.
5️⃣ Eat what you want
Holiday parties are a time we’re supposed to enjoy. If not indulging is going to make you miserable, give yourself alsome of the holiday treats & traditional foods that you usually have this time of year. Just don’t go overboard!
All you need , for that perfect, yummy, delicious, nutritious meal, is JUST A DRIZZLE OF GALEOS VERSATILE DRESSING!
Here we baked sweet potato marinaded with Galeos Sesame/chia seeds.when done we cut in half, and each half topped with French feta cheese.
Sauté mushrooms,red onions, add eggs , sprinkled with oregano! Placed all in warm plate , DRIZZLE GALEOS SOUTHWEST,and one clove of fresh garlic on the side. One clove a day , keeps flu/cold away!

Another weekend, another big breakfast skillet 😍 •
I ran a 5k today, and didn’t get near my best time, I didn’t even run the whole thing. As I crossed the finish line I cried because I was having such stomach issues during the run and I was so frustrated. I am on the last day of my second parasite cleanse so I was hoping to be at the end of my stomach problems. While my stomach issues may not be over, I am still learning how to not get frustrated and how to have compassion for myself.
I don’t want anyone to feel bad for me, I’m getting to the bottom of my stomach problems and will be much better soon. I just wanted to share this story to show how the ups and downs of your health journey happen. It’s okay to get frustrated and to break down sometimes, but it’s more important to continue on and persevere in the face of your health issues.
Maybe not everyone resonates with this but if you do I’m there with you. Health issues may be frustrating sometimes but just know it’s okay to break down when things get hard, you’re not always going to be strong. Just remember to keep looking for solutions, you’re getting stronger and more knowledgeable every day and you’re going to fix this one day soon❤️
I SURVIVED Christmas shopping with my girls.🙌🙌🙌 Shopping is 80% done & they were both pretty close to complete angels. Bribery had nothing to do with that btw. 🤷♀️ Now I'm sipping on my healthy homemade peppermint mocha with not so healthy cookie dough marshmallows while the girls nap. 😜😜 Does anyone want my peppermint mocha recipe??? It is SO GOOOOD and tastes like the REAL DEAL🙌

Dinner tonight, my ultimate comfort food...truffle mac + cheese ♥
Pipe rigate has to be the BEST pasta ever for it, I love the way it holds the cheesy goodness inside. To make, just take your favorite basic mac + cheese recipe and amp it up with a little shredded parmesan, dried truffle flakes, and a touch of bleu cheese.

Our church congregation had a Christmas brunch this morning, complete with breakfast burritos, yogurt, grapes and donuts, plus orange juice, chocolate milk, and mineral water. 🌯🍇🍩🍹🥛🚰
At community social events like this, its super easy to just get sucked into an eating trap. 🍩 The donuts are running out, oh no, I have to grab one! 🍩
If i go into a party ready to eat whatever is offered, great!! I enjoy it! But if i want to try to eat well, i have to have a plan. It's probably not going to be perfect, but it can be pretty decent if i focus on emphasising protein and water, and letting the other stuff go.
So Greek yogurt and a breakfast burrito with mineral water would be 👌
(Full discourse: I'm gluten free, so often my choices are even more limited. It's easy to skip the donut when i can't eat it, but hard to pass up whatever gf option they provide. This time, I got a chikfila egg and chicken scramble thing that was great!!)
