First time we tried Ghanaian cuisine. 📷 Goat stew with jollof rice, chicken ,chapati and Vitumbua. All of them were so freaking delicious! We loved it ❤. .
To our surprise, Many items among ghanaian food were so similar to some of the dishes in Indian cuisine. The third picture is vitumbua. Its a mildly sweet round pancakes. In South India it's called as kuli paniyaram. They had an item called sambusa. It's samosa in India. Ghanaian cuisine also has chapati, which is same in india. Their stew was the highlight. We enjoyed it so much. Can't wait to taste other items from Drelyse African restaurant. .
Fried lobak and century eggs are popular stall food in Malaysia. Lobak is a deep fried five-spice pork roll wrapped in beancurd sheet. It has a crunchy exterior with a soft and chewy filling. As for the black stuff, is called century eggs which is a chinese preserved food product and delicacy. The gelatin does not taste much like anything but the yolk is pungent and creamy with a whiff of ammonia.
