Functional fitness is the application of exercises to improve everyday quality of life. .
Functional fitness makes tasks/hobbies like yardwork, snow❄️ shoveling, hiking, and skiing⛷ easier. .
Functional fitness exercises use compound movements to help improve coordination, mobility, balance, strength, and conditioning. We can also refer to this as general physical preparedness or GPP. Such exercises are based on movement patterns (squat, hinge, push, pull, rotation). .
Functional fitness is not doing an exercise because it looks like how you might reach for something on a shelf. It is not doing tire flips, or hitting a pad with a sledge. Those (if done✅ safely) can be great👍 sources of conditioning but should not be considered ‘training’

Eat complex carbs
Eat way more protein, ladies especially. .
Take an omega supplement. .
