Empathy. Compassion. Forgiveness
Offer your shoulder, your ear, your comfort.
Someone may simply need the counsel of your presence and not your criticism.
We are in the season where many are triggered into depression and sorrow.
Lead with kindness, with heart.
We often forget that everyone is moving through their own person struggles because we are focused on our own wants and needs and judgments.
And if it's you that needs the extra love, allow your self to receive the gift of friendship, family...dont be afraid to reach out.
And those who are in service this season, remember not to allow your willingness to give be misunderstood or abused, as if it were a weakness. Help yet have boundaries. Give but not to the point of self sabotage.
This is also a great time to be aware of energy flow when around others. Be conscious of what it feels like to give energy, receive energy and to know when its being sucked from you.
It's high season for vampires and succubus. Be merry. Be aware. .

SYMBOL // PEACH • Does the Peach hold any special meaning for you beyond being a delicious Summer fruit or reminding you of your lover’s buns 🍑? In many cultures, including Ancient Greece and in China and Japan, the Peach is one of the luckiest symbols around. Associated with love, marriage, fertility, health, wealth, and a long, happy life, the Peach is a great fruit to incorporate into love food magic (peach pie anyone?), while its depiction - like on my wooden charm here - makes for a good talisman for the marital home 💓
Sometimes the universe sends random signs in the middle of the night. Saturday night at 3AM, these things randomly fell from a very high shelf. I was fast asleep so I have no idea how/what knocked them down. One of my favorite books from my favorite author, plus these 2 cards from The Well Worn Path oracle deck. I have used this deck maybe 5 times in my life, yet some how something felt I needed to hear this particular message. I’m still gathering what exactly this is suppose to mean, but I figured it was to fire myself up for the new year and start something new. I will be delving into creating a blog all about my practice, daily life, and maybe even a few recipes both edible and magical alike. This will tie into eventually having my own store setup to purchase products and services, and possibly even some artwork. 2018 was the year of being brave and shedding what no longer serves me, now I need to actually do the things I set out to do and be successful. Bring it on 2019! #nolawitch#witchlife#seawitchemporium#messagesfromtheuniverse#makeitwerk
Archangel Gabriel is featured in this single decade pocket rosary. Moonstone is associated with dreams, intuition and psychic development. Did you know that many people pray to Saint Gabriel to learn how to interpret dreams and other intuitive messages given his role as interpreter in the book of Daniel? Which Orisha is this?
Hint: Elephant, Hunter, health, physician, oshun, yemaya, chanting
The point of this, is to encourage you to do your own research on the orishas. Many Yoruba religions have slight differences. Some information vary but most are typically the same.
Erinle (meaning elephant), is the beautiful orisha of wealth, fertility and abundance. He is the spirit of having it both ways. He is the underwater king and a spirit of the bush. Erinle is a water spirit. The source of Nigeria’s River Erinle is near Oshogbo, location of Oshun’s major shrine. (After Oshun’s period of devastating poverty, she wed Erinle and was restored to a position of wealth.) Erinle is present where salt and sweet waters meet and merge.
He is also a hunter who lives in the forest together with his close allies, Ogun, Ochossi, and Osain. He is a warrior and a healer. He is the divine physician.
Although many of his devotees are heterosexual, Erinle is considered the special patron of gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and the transgendered. Children born with umbilical cords twined around their arm are believed to be under his dominion.
'Psychic Eye' Sandalwood Hydrolat - distilled using the waters of Crescent Lake which was gathered during the Full Solar Eclipse in August 2017.
Sandalwood is traditionally used for meditation, heightening psychic awareness, peace, and purification. The sandalwood used to create this hydrolat was the remaining 'hearts' of the wood procured from a master prayer bead maker who crafts sacred malas for japa/mantra. Each bottle also contains a quartz crystal point and pyrite to enhance the potency of this sacred sandalwood water.
Pyrite, commonly known as 'fools gold' is known to be an attractant in money magic but is also lessor known for its psychic and spiritual protection properties and it also facilitates ones clairvoyance and divinatory abilities. Quartz is an amplifier and aids in meditation, induces prophetic dreams, and protects against psychic attack.
Application: Spray on body and in ritual space, for protection & to enhance psychic abilities.
Distillation by @houseoforpheus
Hydrosols are created from the steam distillation process while distilling essential oils. Each plant is ethically wildcrafted during auspicious planetary hours and days in accordance to each plants correspondences. Herbal waters have a long history of use in renaissance medicine and perfumery. We continue the tradition of spiritual use with herbal distillates and offer our waters to the cunning practitioner.
@styledbymia is dyeing my hair peachy pink tomorrow so I wanted to share this lovely photo by @simplychelsetta while my hair is still silver 🙈⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
this year has been fucking wild and I worked really hard and I’m trying to not get too emo here but I’m really thankful for all the lovely folks (IRL and online) who’ve been cheering me on the entire time and let me crash at their place in Vancouver or Montreal or St Catherine’s and went to my workshops and told their friends about booking a reading (seriously you have no idea how valuable word of mouth is) and bought readings as birthday gifts and pre-ordered merch for the Folk Tarot Manifesto and commented on posts (comments are fucking gold in the Instagram algorithm) and messaged me to send encouragement and love.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Thank you ALL so so much. It’s an honour to be in this space with you 💕⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
A very gentle reminder that Year Ahead Readings will be closing at midnight EST tonight. If you’re waiting on a paycheque etc and can’t order tonight, send me an email at email@example.com and we’ll work something out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Books for 1:1 readings in January are filling up and will probably be full within the next week-ish, so I’ve opened up February books as well. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The Fool card is about taking a courageous leap, or embarking on some kind of a brave life journey. It could be taking the first step towards actualising a new idea, or simply deciding to shed old patterns, in order to experience what happens next. This card describes a beautiful act of faith, guided purely by intuition and instinct
Instead of procrastinating, looking for a validation from others, or waiting for a better moment, the Fool is taken over by a sense of adventure and hope. He has real faith in the desires of his true self, and throws caution to the wind
It might look dangerous or foolish to others, but the Fool has enough self belief, energy and optimism to take that giant step into the unknown, refusing to respond to convention or fear
If you listened really carefully, what exciting step would your true self urge you to take?
