Son novedosos los lugares donde se permite 𝒂𝒄𝒂𝒎𝒑𝒂𝒓 pero de forma alternativa, esto es brindando “tiendas” ya armadas como las de la foto, o también domos, un poco más exclusivos •
Let’s go around the table and say one thing we’re thankful for! 😂 Does your family do this too?
Thankfulness is easy today. We’re bundled together in the car, headed toward family & food, everyone is healthy(ish), we have coffee and honestly, the fact that the whole nation is singing the same tune, giving thanks in unison, does make it a bit easier to keep it top of mind. 🌥
Buuutttttt.... there are other days when thankfulness is not quite so effortless; when I have to stop myself in my tracks and look up and the sky, breathe for a moment, listen to the leaves fall, look into the eyes of my beautiful children and remember that this moment, with all the chaos, and traffic, and lost backpacks, and pressure to be all things to all people, and piles of dishes and 100 packages to be mailed... (do you feel me??) yep, EVEN THIS moment, is beautiful. 🌥
So what am I most thankful for?
Family, kids, love, creativity, travel... but really,
at the root of it,
I’m thankful we have the ability to
find exceptional beauty in common place moments. ⚡️It’s basically a superpower. ⚡️
We made some ornaments! 🎄 The studio was getting swamped with leather scraps, so here’s what I came up with. Swipe left to see each design. Available in tons of random leather colors and a couple of cool fonts and a few foil colors. It’s about as non specific as can be, but hey we have been super busy here lately. DM to order or hit up the @thebeehiveatl later today! #handmadechristmas

“Macramé is my meditation, I find it very soothing”.
In July I met up with beautiful Ikram, the founder of @abha.macrame and I took some pictures of her marcamé at her home studio.
If you’d like to read the full story go to @thisiswomb.
Words, as usual: @mmmiawallace
Tomorrow we’ll be on the road to Canada, but for today there are photo shoots to do, last minute work projects to finish, donating wares, and cleaning out the old apartment.

The strong passion for macramé was enough for Ikram to start her own business, Abha Macramé, where she both creates her own macramé pieces and teaches other people the craft of ornamental knotting. “Macramé is my meditation, I find it very soothing,” says Ikram. She explains that using natural fabrics like cotton, linen and jute, her bare hands as the only tool involved and at the same time being able to see the tangible results of her hands work makes her really happy. ——————————————————————— New Women’s Circle story with Ikram, @abha.macrame is up on our website.
