GoPro running with the gimbal today. Video recorded a 5km race from the back of the field at the @parkrunie in Waterstown! Tricky to keep swapping a camera from right to left hand in a race but worthwhile to show people what a ParkRun 5km race looks like! Might try and do a few more races like this because it is a steady way to see a race from a persons point of view. Take a look and enjoy and maybe i'l record another race. 5K in just under the 21 minutes, next week we go for 20:30 and continue working towards that sub 19 again.

Foods can sound healthy and may even look healtier than one another but when it comes to the better CALORIE choice its the mcdonalds breakfast is better in this case even tho we should be eating a more nutritios meal than these 2...

I invited Yin Yoga into the corporate world for the first time yesterday evening and they lapped it up 🙏🏻 I am so excited to continue my journey on the yin path by taking more @jsummers modules and really focusing on the human body more as I teach. It’s so easy to get caught up in the postures of yoga. This idea of perfect alignment. Striving for the “advanced” postures. I can’t remember the last time I tried crow pose. Because why? So I can balance on my forearms for a photo? It doesn’t resonate with me right now. Yes it’s fun to try but I don’t strive for these postures at the moment. My practice is shifting. Feeling my body, learning to listen to the sensations, moving with ease and understanding, is what’s important to me. And it’s what I bring to my classes. Integrating Yin principles into my Yang practices is really changing my teaching. I will always be a slow paced teacher. I spent the past 6 months worrying that I’m not as strong as others or my practice is too soft. I have a lovely student who always tells me she comes to my hot classes because she knows what to expect and knows it won’t knock her over the edge 😂 She will go to a particular teacher for a real strong hot flow and to me when she wants a more gentle one. And it’s funny, coming from a personal training background I thought I’d be bringing a fitness element to classes once I began but it’s the complete opposite. Move with gentle ease is more my thang 🤙🏻 excited to continue to grow! • To the yoga teachers out there - have you grown into a different kind of teacher than you once expected to be? •And yoga students - have you experienced a change in your favourite teachers teaching as they grew into their own? 🤔
