Suggestions of Fiery Sunsets and Juicy Citrus, Orange roses are not only meant for Summer. Did you know that it was only around the turn of the 20th century that rose cultivators began experimenting with crossbreeding red and yellow roses to create orange? It’s a rocking color!
Yesterday I was listening to a creative podcast, and painter who was being interviewed discussed something that really struck me. She spoke about being a multi-passionate creative and reinventing yourself and how for a while she felt shame about switching projects frequently, with the concern that others might perceive her as flaky or unfocused. I've felt this way a lot too. I've had more jobs than I can even recall. But over the past year while sharing what I make I've learned that I wasn't being flaky, I was just in pursuit of figuring out who I am. I always thought that I was flawed for trying so many different things/careers but now I understand that I've always just had this very visceral NEED to create. Like it's a depth of my soul, this is who I am need. And now I'm here in this place where I'm constantly creating and sharing and hopefully building a creative career, all while experiencing motherhood and it seems absolutely crazy sometimes. But it's exactly where I'm supposed to be.
