Flourless poppy-seed cake with honey & pear on the top 😍🍰🍐 macro friendly and fast 💪🏻 mix together 2 eggs, 250gr no fat quark, 150g Fage 0% yogurt, 50gr zero calorie sweetener. Half the mix, one half put 25gr grounded poppy seed, the other half put half a package of no added sugar vanilla pudding powder. First pour the vanilla mix into a cake mold, then the poppy seed half. Bake it in 180celsius for 40 minutes. Until in a pan put a pear sliced up with a tablespoon of honey, cook it until the pear is soft. When the cake is ready, put the pear on the top. I don't know how I let this not be uploaded but this is what is called a Chocolate Cloud Cake! It's supposed to have those cracked edges. I want to thank @nigellalawson for this amazing recipe! It looked beautiful & tasted like pure dark chocolate. If you like super dark chocolate, this is for you. 3 tips I recommend when creating this dessert. 1. Use a really really good chocolate, even if you have to buy it online. 2. Do not overbake, even at just the recommended time (all ovens vary on how they perform with temps) it will not stop to bake itself while it cools, so just under bake. 3. Serve your whipped cream right before serving especially in the Summer because your cloud will start to flatten & liquify. This is a flourless type dessert. It was easy but does require some experience in whipping egg whites to peaks as well as the whipping cream. Practice, Practice Practice. I did use 70% Dark Ghirardelli Chocolate in this recipe but I think I'd do a more high end chocolate in the future. It came out beautiful & it was well received. Thank you Nigella! Recipe can be searched online or up on my blog too. I made a few flavor tweaks in mine.
Flourless Chocolate Brownie Moist Cake!
Today Is my son’s 15th birthday so I decided today to try to make as best as I could a chocolate brownie cake that was low carb friendly and keto friendly. This turned out so good. Great for a sweet treat or craving something chocolate and fudge like. This is sure to hit the spot.
This honestly is more like a brownie fudge recipe but we are going to pass it as cake😀
100grams of unsweetened dark chocolate (I used 85% cocoa sensations dark chocolate...all I hand on hand)
4 tbsps of unsalted butter
1/4 cup cream
1/4 tsp of salt
4 large eggs
4 tbsps cocoa powder
1 tbsp vanilla extract
4 packs of sweet leaf stevia (used whatever sweetener you like and add what you like for sweetness)
Preheat oven to 350°. In a double boiler place the chocolate, butter, cream and salt and melt that to a nice creamy consistency.
While that is melting, grab another bowl and crack the eggs, add your vanilla extract, cocoa powder and sugar. Beat that together.
Once your chocolate has cooled off and melted add that to your mixture. Beat that together.
Grease a cake pan so the batter doesn’t stick. Pour the batter into your cake pan and place it in the oven for about 25 minutes on 350°. You will see when it comes out of the oven that it looks raised almost on one end. Let it sit for a good 20 to 25 minutes and it will flatten out pretty evenly.
Of course if you really wanted to go over the top with this you could double the recipe and make a double layer so it’s a much higher cake.

Icing I did was a chocolate butter cream:
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp cream cream
2 packets of sweet leaf stevia
2-3 tbsps of cream(add to your desire I was trying a creamy icing)
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp of cocoa powder
Cream that all together
Now let’s hope my son loves it 💖
Paella tasting menu (4 courses and paella) plus two desserts and drinks (sangria for me) at Contigo in SF. So good! The tasting menu started with croqueta de jamon serrano (nice crisp exterior, soft surprisingly creamy interior) and sardine & avocado toast (easier to bite than I expected, nice mix of flavors). Next was fried eggplant (super hot when it arrived haha, I liked the eggplant, not too sure about the sauce drizzled on top) and a squash/mushroom salad (good to get some veggies in). The seafood paella was really tasty. It came with dollops of aioli on it which I was surprised by at first but I loved mixing it in with the rice and it made it taste even better. I only wish that the rice had crisped up more on the bottom. Generous helpings of seafood; it was just right. For dessert, we got the hot chocolate with churros to dip in it and the tarta de Santiago, a flourless marcona almond cake. Sooo stuffed afterwards so it was good we had a 25 minute walk afterwards haha. The paella tasting menu is only available Tues-Thurs.
