Seniors were able to learn more about careers in Business, Real Estate, Law, Medicine, Engineering, the Arts, and Sports personally and directly from alumni leaders in each industry!

Classes like AP Human Geography extend theory into the physical space by creating symbols and physical models representing subjects such as human trafficking and mass immigration. Your donation allows our students to have continued access to the latest maker space and technological resources.
Congrats to seniors Maria Alvarez, Connor Goodman, and Koi Love for signing letters of intent this morning in the J. Calvin Rose Athletic Center. Maria, who has five state championship rings and two Dick’s National Tournament Championships during here six years on the girls’ variety basketball team, will be signing with the University of South Florida. Connor, who has been a starter on the varsity baseball team since 8th grade and carries a career .345 batting average, will be attending the University of Maine. Koi Love, who was an intricate part of last year’s girls’ basketball state championship team and the Miami Herald Player of the Year in Class 2A to 5A, will be continuing her basketball career at Vanderbilt University. Signing day is a culmination of years of hard work and dedication to these student athletes’ respective sport.
Mu Alpha Theta Students Isabella P. ‘19, Nandan A. ‘19, Jeremy C. ‘19, Elizabeth S. ‘19, Felipe R. ‘19, and Sofia B. ‘20 competed in the 4th Annual Mathematics Olympiad at @barryuniversity last Friday. The format included an individual written test and a team competition, and featured schools from across South Florida.

Alumna Retired Lieutenant Colonel Jennifer Avery Wilson ‘90, the first female B2 stealth bomber pilot in history to fly a combat mission, shared her background and story during our One School Honoring Our Veterans event. She is pictured with her mother, Senior Kindergarten teacher Ms. Denise Wilson and father, Mr. Chris Wilson. Ms. Wilson has taught at Miami Country Day for over 30 years. Lieutenant Colonel Wilson will make her way around our community today interviewing with Lower School authors and speaking in various Lower School classrooms. What a privilege it is to welcome a true hero to our community on this day of remembrance and honoring our veterans.
