The final days of summer are officially here. The rain has made it's appearance here and there, and the hills are turning green again. Any day now the colors of autum will start to show and this valley will take on a whole new appearance. 🍃🍷🍂 One of the most peaceful experiences of visiting the Willamette Valley is taking a scenic drive through the country side. Consider taking a guided wine tour to maximize your day and learn about the Flora & Fauna of our incredible valley!
Some local experience driven tours in the valley we recommend are @lifeatroot, @tourcascadia and @pinotcar. Contact us today to begin curating your memorable fall experience to Oregon's wine country!
Signs of autumn gaining a foothold through the door 🍂 (actually blowing the door wide open could be a more accurate description 🌪 I very nearly lost my washing to our neighbour's garden this morning!)
The autumn equinox and my first business birthday are both approaching this weekend! Excellent reasons to celebrate and I plan on doing just that. My new website is ready to go and as promised there will be an opening discount coming your way on Saturday! 💫 The amazing community I have found here on Instagram has encouraged and taught me such a lot throughout the past year. You are all so supportive and I am full of gratitude for that, thank you!
If you'd like Harvest Moon or Falls Gold burning in your home for the turning of the season - they are in stock over on my Etsy store now! Order by tomorrow for delivery by Saturday! 📦
Liburan ke kebun binatang, apa lagi untuk anak muda mungkin kurang populer. Memang si kurang seru kesannya karena cuma lihat binatang binatang aja. Tapi cobain dulu berlibur kesana. Coba perhatikan setiap binatang yang ingin kamu kunjungin. Misalnya Jerapah.
Harga tiket masuk di kebun binatang ragunan,JakSel around Rp.3000-4000 per orang which is murahlah ya wkwkkw. Oh iya tapi harus pake kartu JakCard bisa beli dulu di loket.
Our Director, Jo Eady facilitated a stakeholder forum for @greeningaustralia client Bank Australia in Horsham last week. From planning to facilitation and outcome, Jo enjoyed supporting a dynamic group of individuals to develop shared ideas and vision. An outcome of the day is input to the development of a Fire Management Plan for a Bank Australia Conservation Reserve in the Wimmera. Jo said it was fabulous to work with such passionate and dedicated people from the @cfavic @trustfornature @delwp_vic and Barengi Gadjin Land Council. A combination of expert input, whole /small group discussion, scenario challenging and issues prioritisation were integral to this day. The developing of the Fire Management Plan starts now and will be complete in mid 2019. Local knowledge, ground truthing and modeling will be key to its success.
Rude. Sorry, it just made me snigger. But then I have a deeply unsophisticated sense of humour.
Fungi, say the boffins, are genetically closer to animals (or us, if you like) than they are to plants. Just one more interesting point about these fascinating organisms that form such an essential part of our world. I’d love to be super well-versed in identifying their fruiting bodies, and to be able to collect basketfuls for delicious autumnal meals. But I just know that one day I’d be a headline in the local paper. “Tragic dinner party: gardener poisons family and friends”
Are you brave enough to harvest your own shrooms? 🍄 (even I know the one in the emoji is a no-no – fly agaric, Armanita muscari!)
Dawn at Shai • These gorgeous shots by @everyday_explorations are from Shai Hills, a wildlife reserve in the south of Ghana.
Created in 1962, it is resplendent with a variety of flora and game — and is also home to the ancestral caves of the Shai people, natural structures which made for great strongholds in times of war. These caves haven’t had much human use since the end of the 19th century, but they are still a beauty to explore with their jutting rocks, tunnels and dramatic overhangs — resting in harmony with lush savanna and some pretty cute zebras.
