Experience is my teacher and integrity is my keeper.
I would love to say I get every job right but unfortunately my work isn't flawless, and when mistakes/complications happen it's how I handle them situations is what defines me. To me customer satisfaction is a must and when it comes to the need of redoing my work, I embrace it rather than run away from it. Now the customer has already paid me so I'm not being taking for a ride, but making sure they are very happy with their floor is more important than making myself profit. A good name is better than a quick dollar.

And I thought it going to be an easy Saturday. Last bit of carpet up and we find concrete. Dual stick carpet adhesive, hate the stuff. Diamabrush and a bag of plaster is the only way to go. #schoolwork#parquet#floorsanding#diamabrush
First job... I knew I wanted rid of the carpet eventually, but day one I found it was jumping with fleas! 😱 so I pulled it all up and threw it out of the windows. With no money left all I could do was obtain a floor sander through work and do my best... now, bearing in mind that I’m a girl working in construction, I do not say this lightly, BUT it’s not for girls! I just wasn’t strong enough to do up the screws that held the sandpaper in place, so they kept coming loose and getting shredded. It cost me more in sheets of sandpaper than I’d have paid a man do to the bloody job for me, and I ended up with a shit finish that cost me even more in varnish to try and smooth over 🤦🏻♀️ #floorsanding#floorboards#restoration#itsnotforgirls#myhouse#bodgejob
Remove The Excess, You can’t remove too much. This a big reason why some of these Penetrating and Hardwax Oil jobs don’t turn out the way they should. If you let it work the recommended amount of time you cannot remove too much.
This one was rough - previsouly treated with lye/soup, this cafe arena was completely dried out and in such bad shape (even worse than it actually looks). Left with a few battle scars, this one was treated with soup natural for that raw look - scrubbed and polished to work the wax - and came out pretty good considering the state it was in.
