The highlight of our Tonle Sap/Kompong Phluk Floating Village boat ride - when we were transferred onto a canoe and seemingly glided through the flooded mangrove forest, complete with a little Cambodian girl as a companion #floatingvillage#wanderlust#travelwithkids
Its good to capture this moment.
At least whenever i feel insecure of what other people's have, i can look this picture and feel grateful for my life.
The little girl around 3 years old-ish brought by his mom on a boat, showcasing the python and her braveness to play with the snake just to attract tourist in donating 1$ in order to survive. I saw when the girl beg for a drink, her mom scoop the water from Tonle Sap and gave to the poor girl to drink. Im shocked, nauseated and feel superbly sorry. However, despite of this life where they struggle and work hard to get money, going under and through big boats full of tourist, surprisingly i can see the actual smile and happiness from the girl's face.
She smile. She laugh. She enjoy and having fun with her pet python. I hope someday she will make good of her life, and im still hoping that i can absorb the positive aura from her and wear it in Malaysia for the rest of my life. She unknowingly has taught me deeply only through her glance. She is wonderful regardless of her hard life.
