I used to think that traveling was my excuse to go HAM and steer away from my nutrition and workouts. I would go COMPLETELY balls to the wall and say screw it to my body and my progress. Now, I practice a much healthier mindset, and that allows me to have fun, but not sacrifice all the hard work I’ve put in.

Try to get some physical activity in, ANY way that you can. Go for a quick walk or jog before your fun festivities start. Go try a boxing, do an outdoor HIIT circuit. Get movement in some way, and you’ll start your day off on the right foot!

Keep up with your water! I bring a huge empty water bottle with me everywhere on my trip. Drinking enough water will keep you full, help clear out some of the extra sodium and bloating you’ve had since traveling.

There are ALWAYS healthy options to go for when you’re traveling. Now, first let me say…it’s vacation, have your treats, and love every moment of it. But don’t let your diet become 100% ice cream and tacos and beer. In the morning, start with a smoothie, before going out to a fun dinner, have a big salad packed with veggies. Incorporate as MUCH nutrient dense foods as possible throughout your day, and it will help a lot!

Absolutely not ✋🏼 Traveling can be tough on your body as is (flying, new foods or more unhealthy-ish restaurant foods, time zone change, sleep schedule change, more activity than usual, etc) so if you FEEL like you could use a break from workouts while traveling: DON’T feel guilty about that! There is NOTHING wrong with taking your vacation to relax fully. In fact, I normally do when I travel (but my Airbnb roomies @courtneyblue__ and @oliviaostrom_’s BANGIN bods might have given me a kick to put in a lil extra work 😛).
But also: if you like working out while traveling, IT OK 2 BOO. ✌🏻

Here’s the thing: there are truly no hard and fast rules with fitness. There’s no “have to” or “requirements”. You do what’s right to you, feels best to you, and serves your best self. If that means extra rest, do that. If it means an extra workout, do that.

Flex Friday I guess 😂 Sitting at about 184lb on the day-to-day, roughly ~25lb over my last stage weight and (somehow) still have striations through the obliques/serratus/shoulders.

I haven’t tracked macros in about four months, done cardio in two months, and typically exercise 5 days a week for 90min each day.

I’m not sure if scientist have done any research, extensive or otherwise, in finding how effective diet and exercise are but I think we’re on to something here. Eat low carb, high protein, med-high healthy fats and focus on Whole Foods. Where’s my PhD?

Whether you take the time to at least give it a try, do some research on it and actually partake in this is up to you, but it has definitely changed the way I view life, the way I think, the way I manage stress, and many more things!
I cannot think of one negative thing that devoting time to indulge myself w/ this knowledge has brought me.

The main job of our subconscious mind is to store and retrieve data. Its job is to ensure that we respond exactly the way we are programmed, and only we can program our thoughts and actions.
Starting to make sense?
It basically makes everything you say and do fit a consistent pattern with your self-concept, you can say it’s your “hard drive”, ever notice how when you store positive thoughts your day goes wonderful, and vice versa.

The subconscious mind is primarily subjective. It does not come up with its own thoughts or reasons; it is merely under command of your conscious mind.
Your conscious mind commands and your subconscious mind obeys! 💭
All of our habits of thinking and acting are stored in the subconscious mind.
It has memorized all of our comfort zones and it works to keep us in them. So here we are in charge of tapping into our subconscious mind and controlling what we do and think.

A few steps I’ve been following to slowly, yet surely, tap into my subconscious and become “enlightened”:
* Meditate
* Positive thinking
* Believe
Reading books about the subject, and listening to audiobooks also give you GREAT insight on this.

Just think about how surreal it is that you can control how you feel, visualize, act, & think yet we’re quick to blame other factors! 🧐
I recommend everyone gives this at least a try.
Some of you might think it’s “cliche” but, trust me you guys are missing out on a lot!

Weighing 183 atm so fairly happy with this result on bench. Even happier I got the reps on incline after all that flat volume. Got some squats on tap today I'll be posting soon!

A number on a clothing tag does NOT determine your worth.

Last week I went shopping, Goal = new jeans. A goal that would’ve given me major panic in the past because the goal wasn’t simply about buying new pants but also buying the smallest size.
⠀
Those days are long behind me and shopping doesn’t cause me as much stress as it used to but I want to take a moment to show you why clothing sizes are clearly arbitrary.

I bought all 3 of these jeans 👖 on the exact same day. All 3 pairs are a different size. Clearly I am not. ⠀
Could you imagine the pain and stress I would be in if I continued to allow a number on a clothing tag determine my worth?

Can you see now that the number doesn’t matter?
⠀
Instead of worrying about it, I just swap sizes until I find a pair that fits right, feels good, and makes me feel good in my body.
⠀
So the next time you feel anxiety or stress around shopping for clothes, remember that sizes are arbitrary.

It’s not a quick fix, although you will see results quickly. Como me encanta la vida práctica y ya se deben haber dado cuenta 🙈 Todo va directo a la licuadora:

1 huevo + 2 claras
3 cdas de avena en hojuelas
1/4 de una zanahoria grande (la mía era gigante) pero con 1/2 de una normal está perfecto.
2 cucharadas de harina de coco
1/4 de la leche de su preferencia (usé de coco)
Opcionales:
1 cdta de canela en polvo, esencia de vainilla, Stevia y 1 cdta de polvo para hornear.

Todo a la licuadora hasta que ya veas que la mezcla está homogénea y ve directo a la sartén pre calentada unos minutos antes.

🥞🥕🥥 TORRE DE PANQUEQUES DE ZANAHORIA Y COCO 🥥🥕🥞 Como fiel amante de los panqueques les comparto esta receta que está en mi 🔝 de favoritas 👌🏻🧡🧡🧡 Me salieron súper gorditos y esponjocitos, osea perfectos para hacer una torre 😍 👩‍🍳Paso a paso: Como me encanta la vida práctica y ya se deben haber dado cuenta 🙈 Todo va directo a la licuadora: 1 huevo + 2 claras 3 cdas de avena en hojuelas 1/4 de una zanahoria grande (la mía era gigante) pero con 1/2 de una normal está perfecto. 2 cucharadas de harina de coco 1/4 de la leche de su preferencia (usé de coco) Opcionales: 1 cdta de canela en polvo, esencia de vainilla, Stevia y 1 cdta de polvo para hornear. 👉 One thing I like to imagine during Lateral DB Raises is as though I'm holding a pitcher of water in my hand and I'm slowly pouring it out as I raise my arm.

👉 Also, I like to focus on extending my arm outward/away from my body (midline) as I raise the weight, vs. simply thinking about raising the weight straight up.

1. Stay hydrated!! 💧so many people get so caught up they forget to keep up with drinking water. I make sure to keep using my app to track my water intake as well as bring my refillable bottle with me to keep using. 
2. Keep taking your supplements!! 💊 By keeping up with one thing your body is always used to, your body still is able to rely on your daily supplements to help with your macros and micros depending on you what supplements you take!

3. Sleep!! 💤 getting enough sleep is sooo important in fueling your body and keeping it in the best shape possible. 
4. Food!! 🥞 if you know you’re going to be worried about meals, it’s okay to bring them with you (catch me doing that this weekend lol) I knew that I was going to be very limited with food choices since I’m volunteering all day and driving through dinner time, so I chose to pack my food with me to help keep me on track and make finding food much easier!

And obviously have fun and live it up!!🌎 •

Muito apaixonada por esses bombons de apenas 3 ingredientes!!! 😍😍 excelente sobremesa de pós treino e da pra levar na marmita pra quebrar o galho na correria do dia a dia 🙌🙌🙌 olha só como faz:

Ingredientes:
2 bananas prata 
1 csobremesa de cacau em pó 100%
30g de whey

Modo de preparo:
Esquente as bananas por 2 min no microondas (fica bemmm mais fácil pra amassar e misturar na massa) e amasse-as.
Acrescente os outros ingredientes e misture bem até ficar homogêneo. 
Leve ao freezer até endurecer, enrole, passe no whey ou em leite em pó e prontin!!!! 😍🤤

DICA: se a massa ficar muito mole pra enrolar (isso dependerá do tamanho das bananas e também da consistência do whey) acrescente um pouquinho de farinha de coco à massa.

👉 você pode substituir o whey por leite em pó 👉 não gosta de banana? Substitua-as por 2 csopa de pasta de amendoim 😋

i have like NO time recently and while that COULD lead me to saying - screw it. i’m just gonna take a month break from working out - i’m not going to do that. i still pop into my apartment gym for about 30-40 minutes TOPS and crank out some short cardio and weights! today i did 10 minutes on the elliptical and then hit shoulders!

10 shoulder presses 
3 sets of each! 
finish with a few sprints and head out!

I love jerky! Yes I do! Always have. Always will! So when I saw this biltong @ayobayousa jerky here on IG I wanted it!! After waiting for s while I finally got some and so glad I did!! It is EPIC! The taste is all out 🙌🏻. And the jerky was so soft—not hard— and so tender and easy to chew. PLUS, the ingredients are amazing! It’s sugar free and literally made with minimal Ingredients (swipe right to see them!). I am definitely going to order more and I cant wait to try the other flavors I got! Are you team jerky?!
