I challenged myself to a #flawlessaugust and decided I needed to hit an exercise goal every single day. Like the 6 year old I really am, the only thing that kept me going was putting stickers on a chart (or calendar in this case)😋 I’m along the tops of the boxes, Jamie’s along the bottom... and I actually did it!!!!!! Not bad when you compare me to May when I actually joined the gym🙄 Proud of myself💪🏻 My stickers:

So one whole month ago I had all intentions of having a great #flawlessaugust , but it didn’t happen. I didn’t manage to lose weight, I’m actually a couple of pounds heavier haha! I hit a point mentally a couple of days ago and thought enough is enough. I actually said out loud to myself ‘sort it out Jennifer’! The Queen of monthly weight loss hashtags, and my dear friend @emiliewaffles has initiated #sensibleseptember as she has just left for her honeymoon. I need to be more than sensible, I need to sort it out!!!!!! I’ve been ‘trying to lose weight’ since January and I have gained weight, I’ve had good periods but overall I’m heavier. I haven’t had one full week that’s been 100% food optimising. I’m not going to ponder on why that may be and I’m not going to be hard on myself. The facts are I’m unhappy with my weight and I want to lose some, so I need to make that a priority and ME a priority. For the last 3 months I’ve been weighing in, in my own group with my member card and that’s been ok but it’s different to being sat in a seat and being a part of group. The first 6 months of this year although I was in the group I attended since 2015, and that wasn’t helping. This morning I have just went to another group. I’ll be weighing every Saturday and I’m SO excited. Ready to SORT IT OUT! Who is with me?! If you’re fed up and want to sort it out join me in #sortitseptember 🌈🦋
I have 6 months and one week until I get on that plane to Florida. I promised myself I would one day go back feeling my best to get another picture with Ariel. That picture back in 2015 was the final straw and why I went on to lose 9 stone 11 lb. I was intensely focussed on my dreams and I’ve never felt happier. I’m feeling that desire inside again and I don’t break promises, especially not myself!!!! I. AM. READY. ✌️

Swinging into September likeeeeee... it’s the last full month of my TWENTIES 🤩 I don’t feel like I’m old enough to be 30 next month but I actually don’t mind turning the ‘big’ 3-0 🤷🏻♀️ When I was younger I planned out my 20’s like a checklist; to have a boyfriend, be engaged/married, have a house and babies. I settled in an unhappy relationship for 8 years ticking them off and as a result was so unhappy and unhealthy. The best choice I ever made was this time 4 years ago becoming single and starting again. I focused on just finding myself and learning to love me, I was my priority and becoming fit, healthy & happy was my only goal, it just so happened that I found the man of my dreams in the process 👫 So happy to be ending my 20’s with my husband on honeymoon next month and spending the next month and a half getting fitter and healthier with Calorie Counting alongside Slimming World and Results with Lucy/Gym. Excited for what my 30’s will hold whenever and whatever that may be, for now I’m just trying my best to live and love each day as it comes ♥️

FRIDAAAAAAY!! Fried egg with bacon on a toaster sanny with @crucial_sauce tomato ketchup (0.5 for a tbsp but I used less than half that so FREE) & a cuppa. I honestly LOVE the crucials sauce range, why have I ONLY just discovered it?!?!
Eeeeeeek!! Didn’t sleep a single wink last night, not even a tiny morsel of a power nap... Buttttt it’s ok because it’s honeymoon eve, it’s Friday, I went to the gym at 6am this morning so I feel energised, I got LOADS done yesterday so I think I’m going to manage to wrap up all of my jobs today and leave work for 6.5 weeks with a clear conscience. Last nights takeaway (grilled chicken and salad - lame) made me super super ill within minutes so I’m a bit of a trembling exhausted mess today (poor Tom has seen some things 😂🙈🤢🤮) BUT I don’t even care because AMERICAAAAA. These are my shiny new suitcases from Amazon that came as a set of 3 and they’re my fave colour and I’m VERY excited to use them.
