Fortuna is a Roman Goddess whose name means "she who makes the year turn about" - she also coincides with the wheel of fortune tarot card.. She is the Goddess of fate in all unknown qualities, she rules oracles, fate, chance, and protects women. Her symbols are the wheel, a ship's rudder and a cornucopia always overflowing.
Coinciding with the Wheel Of Fortune she is the Goddess of cycles. Her message is that you need to be as lucky as you are skilled, maybe even more so in this instance. Luck comes most often when opportunity, preparation and skill meet. Study the various arts and sciences devoted to cycles and timing. Her fate bestowed upon you is that you will reap what you have sown. If you have prepared well and behaved honorably, this is a time of success. Knowledge of cycles increases your responsibilities. Luck is the meeting of opportunity, preparation and skill.
She reminds us the we can all be children of fortune. A child of fortune is one who casts his or her fate to the wind, thus affirming that this universe is a good place to be, and that odds are, something will turn out right. They show how to find individual freedom and the good fortune of all humanity as well as the secret to being a successful child of fortune, rather than a hot mess, indifferent and jaded, the knowledge comes in knowing the patterns and powers of fortune.
This blows me away — this is Ashley, 3 months on my fav body balancing combo + our new freaking amazing skin care 🙌🏼 “I had mild teen acne in the past but after dealing with the flu in January 2014, I woke up one morning to this face. It burned & itched, kept spreading (shoulders, back, chest). The really horrible, red, bumpy, this-aint-acne face (none of these pictures are edited, I had a hard time uploading them honestly). I saw a dermatologist who gave me Diflucan (antifungal), told me it's called Malasezzia & that I'll have to live with it to some degree the rest of my life. I asked why all of the sudden? Healthy people's skin doesn't look like this; do I have an underlying issue? No answers. The Diflucan DID clear it in about 3 weeks, but going to class, getting engaged 💍: I was humiliated by my skin. It never completely went away & left hyper-pigmentation spots (dark spots) everywhere. I still dealt with breakouts, itchy spots, & 'orange skin' texture all over. I avoided certain lighting & tried to find a wedding dress 👰🏻 that didn’t showcase my flawed skin (a bit vain, but I was soooo self-conscious). Fast forward a year: I saw 2 more dermatologists about my flare-ups. Same thing "You'll just have to live with it.”
That wasn't good enough. I tried special diets & skin supplements; it made very little impact. So I gave up, dealt with the bi-weekly itchy face & bumps & ignored it. I had a baby boy, we moved.
I JUST AVOIDED THE MIRROR.
Then 3 months ago, Bethany posted on Instagram about Plexus. She said that Plexus had done wonders for her family & she had some samples of their new face serum. Free sample? Why not? 🤷🏻♀️ After bombarding her with questions I honestly felt like it was one of those higher end, fad supplements that wouldn't do anything & cost me an arm & a leg. But she sent me oodles of before/ after pics so I decided to try it for a month. Then 2. & today marks the 3rd month!
My skin hasn't looked this good since I was 10 years old!! #healthy#acne#guthealth#smile#better#teen#love#feelings#face#breakouts#clearskin#health#clearskin#fixed#adultacne#letsdothis#feelbetter#help
I swear I'm trying to #gitgood at #drawing but I draw too hard with the mechanical pencil and then when I erase... It's over look at her eye ... I " #fixed " it with a sticky note on doe lmao
Gotta get these 1k bad drawings out of my system so I can catch up with the rest of the world. I know the hair is lazy, the arms suck and the hands are trash lol .. 🤷🏾♂️
