Life seems to speed faster and faster. The older you get, the faster it goes. And these days, many of us are so busy and overwhelmed with work, family matters, and sometimes simply surviving, that we often fail to enjoy ourselves. There just isn't enough time! But in actually, there is. But it requires eking out a spot for it. It requires making enjoyment a priority. You must demand this of yourself. Put some fun in your schedule. You certainly deserve it.

Rear delt pulls (not in video)
KB sumo hop squats
Hip thrusts (this was her first time!!)
Weighted Eccentric push ups (this means I put 10 pounds on her back and she focused on going down suuuper slow - really burns out the triceps which we love 💪🏼) STATION 4:

And that was a wrap ! 🙌🏼🙌🏼 Jordan typically does yoga, barre and Pilates so I was super excited for her to come try a strength training workout. 💋
Do something every day that terrifies you. Happy people step out of their comfort zone. You can’t grow if you don’t challenge yourself. And growth is a requirement of happiness. If you’re not growing, you’re slowly decaying and dying. Elevated risk makes you feel more alive and puts you in a state of flow-which is an optimal conscious state where you feel and perform at your highest level. You become completely absorbed in what you’re doing - pure presence. When you do things way outside your comfort zone, you naturally raise your conscious level. When you do things that involve high risk, and high probability of failure, you are forced to think differently than you normally do. You are forced to be creative and innovative. #growth
What if I told you I used to be super shy? What if I told you I never liked working out before? What if I told you I used to be very insecure with myself? What if I told you I never liked how my body used to look? Would you ever think those were the thoughts I had about myself? Update 11 weeks post comp and including 9days in Bali with no training 😳and eating and drinking freely.. well I’d be lying if I felt like a lean machine but all things considering I feel ok. Ready to slog it out again till Christmas. Def like being a little bit leaner so it’s time to #work ! 💪

She’s much more familiar with yoga and Pilates so we did 3 rounds of this circuit today to do a full body workout with weights that are a little heavier than what she’s used to and she lovvvved it 😽😽
We also went over her macros 👏🏼
