I tell my clients all the time please don’t run on the treadmill for an hour - there are better treadmill workouts that will be more effective and take less time - this is one of my favorites because I never get bored doing it 😜 8.0 mph 15% Inclined Interval Sprints 30s on 30s off (10 sets). Feel free to adjust the speed, incline & sets based on your physical fitness. I start listening to it as soon as I can find it on the radio or if a Christmas movie is on in the off season, you better believe I am watching it! It is amazing how music affects us. For some reason Christmas music speaks to me more than any other type of music. .

There are so many memories of me listening to Christmas carols with my family as we decorated the Christmas tree...which I still do! As if there were any other way to decorate a tree. I listen to it while looking at houses decorated with Christmas lights. While I am baking my famous chocolate chip cookies. I even listen to it to and from work. .

Music is good for the soul, and when you find something that brings you pure joy—-embrace the heck out of it! .

Veggie burger:

1 cups or 1 can of black beans
1/2 green pepper
1/2 onion
1/4 cup of shredded carrots
3 gloves of garlic
1 egg
1 tb chili powder
1 tb cummin
1 tsp of hot sauce
1/2 brown rice flour - Play around with the seasoning, use whatever you like.
Preheat oven to 375, cover a baking sheet with foil and lightly cover with olive oil. 
Mash beans, finely chop veggies (or use food processor). In separate bowl mix eggs and spices. Combine all ingredients, now add flour and combine. 
Form mixture into patties, makes 4 or "meatballs", makes 15-20.
Cook 10 minutes, flip and cook another 10 minutes. Freezes very well.

My fave overhead press(OHP)variation 🏋️‍♀️ dont run away from the smith machine ya'll ☝️ it can be very useful for certain exercises.

A little bit of info about this exercise:
- for beginners: good for getting used to the range of motion...since the smith machine is fixed in place, it is easier to control than a free barbell.
- for more experienced lifters: good for going heavier than you might normally go with a barbell. Being seated and having the bar fixed will make it "easier" to grind out reps without your form breaking down.

*elbows tucked in(not flared out to the sides), forearms vertical, core braced
*as you press straight up, drive your head through your arms (as seen in video)
*I come down to about chin height to keep constant tension in the shoulders

HOW TO PLANK? 💪
1. With your elbows bent at 90degrees and both forearms resting on the floor, push up with your body so that you form a STRAIGHT LINE from your head to your toes.
2. Look straight at the floor and make sure your elbows are directly under your shoulders.
3. Think of “tucking your tailbone under” so you engage your core and tense your legs to use them too!
