While I think my circumstances have driven me to dive more into mental health than ever before, it’s always been such an interesting concept to grasp. The amount of power our brain health has on our well being is incredible.
If I’m being honest, without the freedom to escape to the gym or for a run when my anxiety is high has been a little challenging, but at the same time it’s taught me both the power of a good sweat but also alternate ways to handle my thoughts and fears when they arise.
For so long, (and I’m sure I’ve said this before) night runs, or good 30 minute swish sessions do wonders for me in clearing my head and reminding myself of the capabilities I have. So if that can be a solution for you, do it! The more you turn to healthy alternatives during trying the times, the more doable and routine it becomes! .
But for now, I can walk and explore alternate avenues to express my stress and anxiousness. So here’s what I’m loving- getting outside! It doesn’t have to be active to be good for you ( go on a boat, walk through a farmers market, make a healthy meal and eat it on your patio) the more I engaged with the world outside, rather than friends on @bravotv the less secluded and more fulfilled I felt. Another thing I read to do we’re afternoon acts of kindness- so instead of dwelling what’s BEST FOR YOU for the afternoon try writing letters to loved ones or making care packages! .
Sorry for the long post, just have so enjoyed learning more about myself and the best ways to keep my heart on fire and wanted to share! Friends I love recommendation too for healthy stress relievers??

I’m so glad we didn’t SETTLE and go somewhere else. Sure, I bet we could have found some other destination slightly cheaper, maybe even a little closer; but honestly, then I would have felt like we were SETTLING. 🤷🏻♀️ And that’s not the way to live your life. #yolo#youonlygetonehoneymoon .
You should never settle. ✨ To think that some people settle on relationships, or a junky car, maybe some cheap fast food, a job they aren’t 100% fond of, their health... literally so many things in life - and it’s so sad to think about!!! 🙁
Sometimes it’s just EASIER to settle, I get it. I used to settle on some things too because it was the easier way to do it. But changing your mindset🧠 is a wonderful thing, especially when you have people doing it with you! 👯♀️👯♀️😏

Hello, good morning :) Monday’s aren’t all bad! I know a lot of people always say “why wait for a Monday? Start today!” But like, if it’s a Monday that lights your fire than you do you boo boo!
I love Monday’s because they are a chance to reset and it makes me personally feel better.
It’s also nice because it’s my Friday! I’m looking forward to two days off to reset and get my life together lol.
Work has been insane this last week so I am definitely looking forward to some well needed r&r.

Door het rivierenhof, naar boekenberg Park, naar te boelaerpark en dan weer terug naar het Rivierenhof! Rondje Deurne vandaag ! Nu bankhangen en studeren voor de rest van de zondag 👊🌧️💧!
