so, I'm freaking hydrated.
also. I have to pee. all. the. damn. time.
but I feel good! I ate right, even though today was a rest day, I feel pumped to start of my week strong tomorrow. I have a 6am yoga class, and then a 5mile run after.

Do you ever feel like you start to get your mojo back and you just remember how happy you are when you live YOUR life. This weekend felt like the first weekend in a HOT minute that I lived my life out of love for myself, a respect for my body, and not being afraid to have fun. What does this look like for me? .
Staying in and watching movies Friday night because I was tired. Getting up Saturday morning for a 4 mile run and a community workout with my @crossfithdub family. A little self care with @baileyshaye_. And then having a little fun Saturday night but being home around 12. Going to church this morning. Getting another great workout today. Being packed and organized for my week in Largo. And now down on Broadway supporting @poison_ivey before my 9pm flight tonight. .
Do the things that make YOU happy. Live your own form of “balance” and “focused as heck” 😏🤘🏼
🎅🏼🎅🏼HOLIDAY EATING🎅🏼🎅🏼 Scary times when you’re on that grind for gains. There’s so many alternatives that save you a little bit while also tasting AMAZING! 🎅🏼dark chocolate!! A little more bitter but definitely satisfies the chocolate cravings with added health benefits!! 🎅🏼 fruit! Another way to satisfy the cravings and hunger with a fewer empty calories 🎅🏼or you could eat the goodies in moderation because it only happens once a year!
I will not be eating (all of) these, I’m packaging up to give to my friends to spread the holiday cheer! Don’t restrict yourself, look for a healthier alternative or enjoy in moderation!

These are my people right here 🧘🏽♀️🧘🏼♀️🧘🏻♂️ I’ve spent the last 8 weeks learning, growing & sharing all the yoga with these peeps & I couldn’t have asked for a better group of yogis to help me in my journey thus far! As you can see, we come from all walks of life & getting to know these humans was such an awesome part of this whole thing! They all touched my heart in some way & their encouragement & openness throughout this whole process was such a beautiful thing to be a part of. THANK YOU 🙏🏽 for helping me grow as a yogi, teacher & as a person. Each and every one of these people has made me better & I just cannot wait for what’s to come! 🤗
Part 2 of my recovery journey. This was filmed during the last 8 weeks after I got home from the hospital.
The purpose of training here is not to look good. There’s two ways of recovery for GBS. Spontaneous recovery where the damaged nerves will repair themselves. This can take a long time for some people years and for other people never fully happens. The second way is rehabilitation which won’t fix any damaged nerves but looks to strength the muscles with working nerves so they take over for the whole work load and you can function normally while the spontaneous recovery happens. This is the reason why I’ve put so much effort into training. At least I know that part that can be done by me it’s being done.

It’s Tuesday, so I get to be highly irritating about my progress. First pic is long-term (7 years), and second one is short-term (7 weeks). No matter what it is, fitness or not, work hard and be happy when you achieve your results.
