Erstmal richtig strecken 🙆‍♀️ Der Alltag mit Gym und Magerquark hat mich wieder 💪🏻.
Für mich ist Fuerteventura nicht nur eine Insel, sondern viel mehr das Gefühl „nach Hause“ zu kommen.. angekommen zu sein, an einem Ort der Ruhe und Erholung. Für mich gibts nichts schöneres. 2012 war ich auf den Malediven aber mein Favorite Place wird immer Fuerteventura bleiben. Deshalb war ich auch schon das 7. mal dort und werde mit Sicherheit immer wieder zurück kommen ❤️

Not going to lie, I’ve been scared sh*tless with the new dietary journey I’ve embarked. #ketodiet I’m no expert,  not even close. I just came across this diet because it is everywhere. The health benefits plus the fact that my body can just run on my own fat ...what?! Sign me up.🙋🏻‍♀️ you mean my body and I can finally work together towards the same goal and not against each other!? 🤔💃🏻

Well, I cold turkey and hopped on the keto train, keto flu and all. I thought, “what’s the worse that can happen?! I gain weight.”

I’ve invested endless hours of research, pee strip testing my ketone levels and when those did not work anymore, blood testing. Fast forward 2 months I’ve learned so much and still learning about this new way of life and even myself.

Happy to share that in the last 3 weeks I’ve gained 2 lbs of muscle and went from 20.3 to 18.6 BFP. 🙌🏼And I freaking LOVE the food. Learning and taste testing new recipes has been been fun. This girl likes her food @healthynotbland 😋

Constant learning Is key to self development. Want to try something new, DO it. Don’t wait to have all the dots crossed, just jump and figure it out on the way. Commit to it, and track your progress long enough to make an educated judgement. It might be for you or it might not and the only way of knowing is if you really give it your all. .

Inner peace is achieved through more than just physical exercise. Meditation and yoga practice are two great ways to reach a level of mental relaxation unlike anything else.

My daily morning and night routine include some guided meditation for 10-15 min using Calm app. It helps me sleep so much faster and increase the quality of it as well. When we are less reactive to our thoughts at night we can rest better. Overthinking about how the day went or what the next day is going to be like prevents our brain from getting proper restoration, which results in us feeling tired upon waking up.

So after my half marathon I jumped into my full marathon training. 32 miles the first week and 38 the next ONLY because that is what the cookie-cutter training schedule said to do. I’m no runner, I played basketball. I found the training schedule on the Internet and it seemed doable. I thought I’d have to make some adjustments but I really wanted to follow it. I am naturally super competitive, have extremely high expectations, and I just flat out love exercise & fitness. It feels so good and even though sometimes it’s hard to get going after a long day, once I get my second wind I want to push. And I usually push too hard and get injured or I just don’t take a day off to recover when I need to. Anyways, my hip has been bugging me and my legs at  just shot. I have to make some adjustments. My goal is still the November 12 marathon. But I haven’t ran since Sunday. I did 50 mins on the stair master Monday and walked for a little over 30 minutes today coupled with  35 minutes on the stair master today.
