I will have to find away to keep practicing it even when I’m not listening to her! 🤔 ⠀

Arm day. This is the first time I've recorded any lift and it teaches you a lot.  1st: I make a lot of dumb ass faces when I'm lifting lol!  2nd: I hadn't realized I swayed so much during bicep curls.
3rd concentrate on lifts but still pay attention to your @blenderbottle. See last pic I dropped a weight on my bottle today.

Post Core Complex Training and my abs are screaming right now! I have athletes that can hardly complete it and I end getting every day people to do it. It is TRULY a core approach suitable for an elite martial artist. Why do you think I do it?!?! Anyway, if your mid-section keeps looking smaller while everything above it is looking bigger, CONGRATULATIONS.l! Between your diets macronutrient approach and your training, you MUST be doing it right.

Remember NO person's stomach should be sticking out further than their chest. That's a perfect storm of a medical emergency just waiting to happen.

We need to wear headphones in the gym while we run, we love watching tv while we walk on the treadmill, etc. There are many times in your life where those external distractions that help you accomplish whatever the task are no longer there. Once those Beats by Dre are off your head, you are now alone with your own thoughts. What are you going to say to yourself to get you through it then? It is very important that you learn to motivate yourself at any given time.

“Before: I was a thin person. I was active but I was doing mainly cardio. I was exercising 7 days a week and would be really hard on myself if I missed a day. I was only eating between 1200-1300 calories; I was always hungry. I was constantly binging and restricting. I would be in tears if I ate pizza or ice cream one day. I was the definition of a “yo -yo dieter.” My energy levels were low; brain fog was super real.

After: Active 4-5 days a week; doing mostly weight lifting. I do one day of cardio (sometimes none) and love love love my rest days. I consume between 1800-2000 calories a day. I no longer binge and restrict. I allow myself to enjoy life and eat those “treats.” Ice cream is my jam 🙃 I don’t let one meal or one cookie get me down. I have so much more energy and my productivity is out of this world, especially at my job. Bye bye brain fog ✌🏼

It’s taken me a long long time to get to this point. I’m still learning everyday. I have good days and bad days. Exercise is more than just about the physical results; I use exercise to make me feel good; I need it for my mental health and to keep me sane. I am super grateful for my journey thus far and for everyone (Kiley) who have helped me get to this point!”

Looking back on these past few months and I’m feeling really proud.

Evening all tonight's training was deadlifts.

Now I only had about 1 hr and 15mins to train so to get the most out of training, so deadlifts with very strict form.

Deadlifts are one of those lifts that a lot of people tend to let form suffer to lift very heavy. Don't take the risk if you lift for ego you will have poor form and will do more harm then good. Slow down and get the technique right, worry about form and control over weight. One thing I see a lot is people complete the first part of the deadlift, then drop the bar down missing out on half the benefits of the lift.

One final tip is don't bounce the weight. It's called a deadlift because you come to a dead stop before you do the next rep. Whwn you bounce the weight your just cheating yourself from gaining control and strength. Bouncing the weight also means you snap back your muscles with the force of the bounce. This can cause damage to muscle heads, tendons and ligaments.
