So drank for the 2nd or 3 rd time this year, ate poorly today, but pushed myself to get to the gym latenight, on my day off, and just move..... i’ve said it before, just come in and move, see where it takes you. Some of my best workouts are when i feel shitty. Tonight wasn’t one of them 😂💦. But still had fun —1— warmed up the glutes to a little #articmonkeys —2—- channeled my inner @johnmcenroeofficial and went apeshit on the wall..... @gunsnroses paradise city helped.....forehand to backhand;). —-3—- ended with ringwork worthy of @barstarzz but tough balancing an iphone on a rower ;). It’s that sweet spot where you look fit and active, and people can tell you take care of yourself. You love how you look and feel in jeans, a swimsuit, your favorite dress, etc.

But all the, myths, scams, useless fitness magazines and the like are stopping you from getting there😓

DIET PROPERLY1️⃣ - Use a moderate calorie deficit. Which, if done correctly, you’ll lose 1 or 2 pounds a week (maybe a little more). But you’ll have more energy, get to eat more, and it won’t feel like you’re restricting yourself.

BALANCE MACROS2️⃣ - Having an idea of how much protein, carbs, and fats you’re eating will help improve your body’s ability to lose fat, maintain muscle, regulate hormones, etc.
⠀
DO LESS CARDIO3️⃣ - When one is eating very low calories, doing tons of cardio, there’s a good chance they are losing fat AND muscle, hurting metabolism, ramping up appetite and more. It’s way too easy to undo all the hard work you just did on the stair stepper with just a little snack. If you want, just 2 to 3 HIIT 20-30 minute sessions is all you need.

STRENGTH TRAIN4️⃣ - Strength training will allow you to add muscle to the right places on your body. Work on getting stronger in the (4-6) rep range. Bulkiness typically comes from excess body fat. When you strip the fat away and build up a little muscle for the right curves, you’ll create the look you want.

I’ve learned to love the process and enjoy the journey. When Elem and I first met, our lives were pretty much on zero 😩😂 like started from bottom for real for real. We actually never went on a “first date.” We didn’t have the money to do anything “special.” Our early times together consisted of driving around having long talks in the car, going on walks in the park, pretty much #ifitsfreeitsforme 🙌🏼 but let me tell you- the simplicity of those days was beautiful.. we didn’t buy each other expensive gifts or go on these elaborate dates (not that anything is wrong with that, it’s just not our story) but we had sooo much fun! We really got to know each other and build a friendship that without those “basic” times we might not have. Now, five years later, life is way more busy- we experience the “normal” hustle and bustle of everyday life (cooking, cleaning, food shopping), we both work a lot more, we’re chasing dreams and building an empire- and sometimes the thought of just driving around and taking a long, not timed walk seems like a dream! //
Wherever you’re at in life, the high middle or low, will never happen again. This exact season at this exact time (age) with the people you have around you will never happen again. Every season has something beautiful in it and a lesson to be learned. Don’t rush things and miss the joys of where you are wishing you “there” already. ❗️5 Tips on how to get back on track with your healthy eating habits after an untracked meal ❗️

I want to start off with saying that there is ABSOLUTELY nothing wrong with an untracked meal or cheat meal
.
Before finding IIFYM, and flexible dieting, I I use to punish myself for eating “bad foods.”
.
Now that I have a healthy relationship with food, I have zero guilt, and immediately get back on track the next day
.
Try these steps below after your next untracked meal to get back on track

1️⃣ HAVE ZERO  GUILT

One untracked meal is not going to mess up your progress.  In the long run, it’s about what you do day in and day out. Also remember that keeping a balance will keep you happy AND healthy

You should never feel guilty for enjoying a treat while making memories!  One bad day won’t make you fat just like one good day won’t make you lean 
2️⃣ DRINK PLENTY OF WATER 💦 Drink, drink, drink.  Fill up a large water bottle and sip on it throughout the day.  It helps your body recover from excessive salt and sugar intake.  If you struggle to drink water, try adding sliced cucumber, and lemon to your bottle for some flavor

3️⃣ GET MOVING 🏃🏽‍♀️ Have an awesome workout.  Extra calories = extra fuel!  It releases feel-good endorphins and is an amazing pick-me-up, especially if you’re feeling a little low after your have indulged. .
I want to make it CRYSTAL clear that I am not saying do EXTRA cardio.  Just crush your regular workout routine

4️⃣ DON’T SKIP MEALS

Don’t deprive yourself of food.  Although you might think fasting is the answer to your untracked meal guilt, skipping meals does more harm than good to your  metabolism.  In fact, skipping usual meals or snacks the day after an untracked meal will only increase your cravings.  Just return back to your normally tracked meals 🔽Continue 🔽

1. Start in a high plank position and start with knee thrusters (knee to elbows). Go hard and fast on this.
2. Drop into a classic low plank and start spiderman crunches, (knee sweeps) again, hard and fast.

A workout is only as good as your ability to complete it fully. Strength training is the KEY to building an impressive, jacked physique.

3. You haven’t given your body a reason to change.

Over the last 10 years, I’ve seen the following 5 mistakes show up time and time again: 1.Your workouts aren’t tailored to your busy schedule. A workout is only as good as your ability to complete it fully. That means not missing workouts when your boss books a last-minute meeting or throwing in the towel because 90-minute workouts take up too much of your time (the Minimalist Muscle program will have you in and out of the gym in 30-40 minutes). . 2. Your program lacks strength work. Strength training is the KEY to building an impressive, jacked physique. It helps you hold onto muscle (and preserve your metabolism to burn more fat) during fat loss diets. It helps you recruit more muscle fibers and increase hormone levels NATURALLY to build muscle. 3. You haven’t given your body a reason to change. If you’re doing the same bland workout bench press with 135 pounds followed by biceps day-in, day-out, your body has no reason to change. . 4.You’re not tracking your calorie intake. The #1  rule for losing fat or building muscle comes down to calories in vs. calories out. To build muscle, you must eat more calories than you burn.
