Choosing joy. I have this sign at home and in my office at work. There are moments where choosing joy has to be a very deliberate decision. And sometimes, even then, it can be hard to come by. When life just seems to be kicking your butt and the bad guys are winning, the scale isn’t moving, the measurements aren’t shrinking as quickly as we’d like, and your dreams seem further away than they were yesterday... Those are the moments where you need your cup filled. You need a reboot. You need to surround yourself with the people who fill your cup. Your tribe.
When your cup is filled, it overflows and allows you to be that joy/support/encourager to others. That’s why I do this coaching thing. Sure the health and fitness is amazing, the products are amazing, but the tribe you get to plug into is really what is life changing. I coach because I want to give that to other women, women who feel alone, even if they’re surrounded by others; women who want a safe place to go with their insecurities and never feel judged; women who want to be surrounded by other women who believe that any dream and goal set can be reached! That’s what I can give you when you join one of my groups or join my team. I can promise pounds and inches lost, but more importantly I can promise a full cup, a safe place, and a ladder to reach each and every goal you set and that ladder is being held by a whole bunch of other women who believe you can do it!
Take the leap! Take that first step on that ladder. I did and each time I wanted to look back or climb back down the ladder because the dreams I have are too high up, I have this tribe of women below telling me I can do it and that they’re holding the ladder steady in order for me to reach those goals and dreams. 🐝Solución: Aquí viene un Harsh Reality, no te van a gustar todos los vegetales. A veces toma tiempo para que le agarres el gusto. Porque pasa esto? Porque tu paladar no está acostumbrado y puede tener gustos por cosas más dulces (esto pasa cuando consumes azúcar con mucha frecuencia) 😋Sin embargo, hay muchas maneras de condimentar los vegetales, para que el sabor sea más agradable. 1.Aceite de Oliva, Sal y Pimienta💛- esto nunca falla!
2.Aceite de Coco- 🥥un game changer
3. Vinagre Blanco y Tajín- 🌶queda divido para las personas que le gusta comer con un toque acido
4. Un poco de Ajo✌🏼

What has one been one of my secrets to my 16 pound weight thus far? No limit on veggies, proteins and fruits. Who wants to weigh lettuce and veggies anyway 🤣?! My secret is measured fats. This goes for things like cheeses, cooking oils, salad dressings, avocado (cause I could eat like 4 of those 😏)
Eyeballing these things do not work for me. Filling up on proteins and veggies first doesn’t leave a whole lot of room in my stomach for much else. Limiting fats to smaller portions keeps the results coming 🤗 #fitnessover40#cookiesandcrossfit
This is my collection of workout DVDs that I've bought over the years. I would buy a program, be all in for a couple of weeks, then it would sit back on the shelf to collect dust. I hate to think how much money I've invested on these disks. Non è raro confondere il “bisogno” di sicurezza, di tenerezza, di fisicità, di contatto emotivo con l’amore. Non è raro rimanere delusi da chi si era creduto perfetto o seppur imperfetto, fonte di gioia. Non è raro attribuire all’altro la ragione del proprio esistere e della propria felicità. Si finisce così con l’attaccarsi non ad un semplice uomo, ma ad un’immagine di uomo divenuto dio in terra. Ecco perché tanta infelicità attorno. Tanti matrimoni che falliscono. Tante separazioni che dilaniano. Tante unioni che sembrano amori e invece sono compromessi a volte ben riusciti con se stessi e con l’altro almeno fino a quando uno dei due continui a dormire... non illudetevi. I'm 4'11 and ❤ to squat...I have always thought my legs were too thick and that I needed to thin them out...Then I noticed how they started to get definition...And 1st time I felt the muscle pop out on the back of my leg after a deadlift session..... Well I knew my thought process was all messed up...I will never have legs that go on for miles but I am starting to make my jeans proud😉😏....

Sometimes dealing with achieving some success is harder than we imagine. I have some experience almost daily with a negative aspect of successful weight loss and fitness. .
Some people want to know why you decided to lose weight. I find it a strange question. Not how you did it, not a congratulations, just a why? And when you answer something like “well I wasn’t feeling good daily or, I wanted to be healthier, blah blah” they lose interest in mid sentence. They all want to hear about a near death cardiac incident that lead to your epiphany that finally enabled you to overcome your substantial character flaws and personal failings that caused your obesity to begin with.
Other people want to judge for selfies. They assume you’re in love with yourself now that you’ve lost weight. What they don’t know is the often strange out-of-body experience It is. To feel almost completely disconnected emotionally and mentally to the image in a photo or the mirror, both of which are different entirely from what others see. I don’t need to explain to them and shouldn’t have to but it’s something we deal with and I don’t know that there is great way to do it. Selfies and mirror gazing seems natural and understandable. It isn’t necessarily vanity as many like to judge.
Some people surrounding you expected or hoped you’d fail. They don’t always react with supportive glee at your success. Sadly, many people are happier with your failure and just uncomfortable with your success. Not my problem I guess.

I'm thanking the yoga wheel for pointing it out to me, and the massage between the shoulder blades. SIDE SHUFFLE SQUAT to make those quads and glutes burn!
This is a great move!
It’s simple, but effective at toning and shaping your legs and booty.
It targets your quads, hamstrings, glutes, calves, arms and core.
Do for 45 - 60 seconds, then rest 30 seconds. Repeat for a total of 3 - 4 times.
TIPS TO REMEMBER:
1. Engage core throughout the whole movement
2. Shuffle on the balls of your feet
3. Ensure you shuffle quickly, this is to get your heart going ❤️
4. When squatting sit back
5. Ensure your knees travel in line with your toes
6. Don’t not let knees travel passed your toes
7. Try to touch the floor with your fingers
8. Keep back flat
