BEST FAT LOSS TRAINING STYLE⠀
For the goal of fat loss (not my current goal) people need to remember training is just there to assist or increase a calorie deficit. Fat loss is dictated by energy balance, diet being the most influential factor.⠀
The best fat loss training method is honestly the one that you enjoy the more, the one you'll stick to consistently for enough time to see results.⠀
However, putting adherence aside, it's undeniable that training with weights should form the back bone of your training regime if you want to optimise fat loss, even if you're a model chick who wants to be 'skinny'.⠀
Using basic multi joint lifts, with enough weight to take yourself close enough to muscle failure, repeated enough times per session and week. Is far better practice that fluffing about with an elastic band around your knees during some Instagram inspired cardio cursuit.⠀
Why? Because training is the stimulus that separates fat loss from weight loss. Training provides the muscles with a reason to stick around when a calorie deficit is present. This way when weight loss occurs, you're actually losing fat, and not just losing "stuff" that could potentially comprise of mostly muscle and not much fat.⠀
Provide stimulus through the right training, provide the building blocks through adequate protein intake, optimise fat loss.⠀
Once you start seeing results, it becomes and addiction 😈, natural 1 year 3 months transformation 😋

It is difficult to describe how I feel when I see myself in some of these videos.
I spent 25 years hating on myself.
Abusing my body, abusing me through destructive behavior, habits, lifestyle and self talk.
I was under nourished, borderline anorexic, clinically depressed, suicidal, addicted to drugs & alcohol, serious prescription medication, stumbling through life and spending too much time wanting to die.
And now THIS???!!!
It truly is overwhelming for me to see what I have achieved.
I rarely see my back and it shocks me every time.
Tears.. of joy, empowerment, pride.
I have felt a failure all my life so these feelings are so foreign to me.
My body now reflects not only my hard work in the gym but is the symbol of my recovery.
I now love & worship my body and it shines like a 💎 for me.
It is incredibly humbling and I feel honored to be given this journey.
I hope I give you hope that you can achieve anything you put your mind to?
I am a mindset coach for this reason.
My body is created from my mind.
My recovery was created from my mind.
Learning to harness the 💥 between your ears is the 🔑!!!
I am 52 in 2 months!!!
Raw cocao, date, oat and banana energy balls 😇
As I’ve made these so many times now, I guess the quantities of each ingredient and adjust them to my own preference! The base recipe to follow is from Simply-Delicious-Food: https://simply-delicious-food.com/8693/
Top tips: Add frozen banana to the mixture to add moisture and allow the balls to clump together naturally more, as well as add more flavour! • Add little cubes of chopped frozen banana to the middle of the balls as you roll them to add an extra twist to the balls (swipe left to see example) • Instead of maple syrup, I use honey • I also prefer to substitute the peanuts for almonds, and the peanut butter for 3 nut butter • I use about 10 sprays of oil rather than a tablespoon (although, this is not needed with the added moisture from the banana) • I use chopped dates that you can buy in packets from any superstore for ease • Halving the recipe is handy when you are packing ingredients or time and also makes smaller, more bite-size balls • I often leave out the coconut due to my families flavour preferences - it’s all about experimentation!
Change the recipe to suit your preference 🕺
