Five sets a minute each. Dont take breaks, you wanna keep the burn sensation! Been more of a tough week, but nothing the weekend cant fix! As for my cut, my diet has changed to more greens and less carbs and workouts have been more cardio oriented, still having regular heavy weight workout every other day:^)

Lifting with your ego is the act of pushing too much weight and neglecting the correct form with the hopes of impressing people. You might think it's cool and all but you are usually putting yourself in a dangerous position and injury is at high risk. Lifting using the right form is more beneficial and a lot more difficult than tossing weights around
Lifting and basically going to the gym is sucha humbling experience for me since a lot are bigger, stronger, have a better metabolism, has good fat distribution and whatnot. I actually embrace being a noob and I do know I need to learn and gain more to be a pro.
One year ago today...
One of the hardest things about losing weight was every time I got closer to my goal I would sabotage myself. I wouldn't even know it. It was like that last 30 pounds and I would stop and fall off track - binge eat and get right back to my old ways.🍞🥐🥖🌶🍒🍓
It's scary when you get to the finish line. It's hard to do alone when you have nobody to back you up and say it's ok girl you got this. You can reach your goal. Those last pounds are so hard to get rid of. You become afraid to try because you are afraid to fail. 😣
The only reason that I was able to have the will power and the strength to get there was my team of ladies in my group to help see me through.❤ The support and encouragement that we give each other plus motivation to eat right and get our workouts in have made a world of difference. 💞👊💪
I can't say how those groups have changed my life and now I can say that I reached my goal because of these ladies. 😁

As we all know, or SHOULD know...training abs will not melt away belly fat. Proper nutrition and being in a caloric deficit will help with fat loss, BUT training abs is still so important! Almost all motions (mopping the floor, hitting a tennis ball, etc) either originate in your core, or move through it. A weak core can impair how well your arms and legs function and a strong core enhances your balance and stability. Basically a strong, flexible core underpins almost everything you do... like, sports and activities, housework, gardening, and good posture. So don’t neglect that core! Making sure your core is engaged during EVERY exercise and training abdominals a couple times of week can make a world of difference.
Today’s abdominal circuit: 10 reps of each or each side for 3-4 rounds.

I've fallen in love with creating a connection to the floor. Last Sunday I subbed a Floorwork class and challenged my girls to explore space freely, moving in a non-linear fashion.

Up at 6am. Apple cider vinegar. BCAAs and protein shakes. Drink all the water. 45min-1hr workout 5x a week. Balanced diet. No alcohol. Only eat out up to 4x a month (if at all). 8hrs of sleep. Lots of snacking... aaand that’s about it. 😅 #inanutshell
