Just took my daily dose of vitamins and I’m instantly feeling better ready to go take on the gym!! One of my goals this next month is to make sure I’m conscious about taking all my vitamins daily as they will really benefit my body, muscle recovery, and health. I tend to be inconsistent when it comes to taking multiple pills each day— I’d rather just throw some multi gummies in my mouth and call it a day— but I need to be better about taking all of them. I love working out in high tops just so that I have a flat surface for when I’m lifting and so I can stay on my heels. That doesn’t mean that I wear converse when I go running but when I’m lifting I ALWAYS where my converse. -

Really focusing on my arms lately, Ignore my chubby ass cheeks. They are still swollen. But the key to getting Bigger Triceps is to really focus on the contraction of the tricep. You always want to keep them tight, you only come up to a 90 degree angle and pull down again! Once you go above that angle is when you start involving back also, we don’t want that. I've been enjoying my rest days, but honestly there's nothing like getting in a good workout. Working out is my mood changer!
You know you're hooked when it takes more discipline to rest than it does to train. 😉 So why are rest days important? It's simple: Rest days help your body repair itself, strengthen it and reinvigorate your motivation so that you want to keep training.
In other words, allow yourself time to recover, and build a stronger - and healthier - you. ☀️

Some days I don't want to work out, but I do it anyway.
Some days I don't eat healthy, but I know that each morning is a NEW day to do better.
Some days I still ask myself "WHY" and I have to remind myself of the reasons that I want to live a healthy lifestyle.
I am on a journey, it may look like I have it easy. But the struggle, the challenges and the daily choices are still there!
You may say - she's thin, she's strong, she doesn't need to lose weight, she doesn't understand. I am where I am now after years of struggle with low self image, only seeing an overweight person in the mirror, disliking who I saw. Even after I lost weight I still felt like a 160 pound person in a 130 pound body! Do you know what I mean?
It's not just about losing weight or getting stronger or feeling better or being healthier. It's about your mindset; learning to like who you are, becoming a person that you can admire.
I know that I am loved. I like this person that is me. Can you say that about yourself?
We have to change our inner self, our thoughts and learn to love our outer self. It's a process, a journey. Would you like to join me?

If you’re saying to yourself “Goodness gracious that’s a lot of filters” you’re definitely not mistaken.
You see, despite how proud I actually am of like 80% of this video and the fun I’m clearly having, I can’t get past whatever is going on with the right side of my face right now. I have a terrible lip tremble, my jaw seems displaced, and I have what is probably the worst RBF I’ve ever seen for the beginning few seconds. I don’t even care that it was done at 7 am with my boys on the couch watching, no makeup and no caffeine intake for the day, and fueled through pure exhaustion.
Today my #selflovejourney feels more like the jagged walls of a mountain and I’m barely hanging on. Today I’m not sure what’s wrong with me, but I can guarantee it’s not nearly as bad as my #anxietydisorder is making it out to be. So I filtered because I thought that maybe, just maybe, if I could stop focusing on it and focus on the good in this video, I might save myself a day of stress and google searches. #hypochondriac#whatiswrongwithme

A strong core can improve your posture, reduce risk of injuries and improve spine stability. 👀 My favorite core work involves lots of planks because they incorporate the whole body ➡️ In my experience compound movements trump isolated movements any day. So try these PiYo down dog split to plank and feel that total body burn 🔥💕😍

Gave my legs some much needed rest today and focused on upper body with a bit of free weights, but mainly bodyweight exercises. I’m a huge believer in doing bodyweight exercises. I feel it helps to annunciate and compliment your true, natural body type, and especially with being a runner, it’s necessary to stay lean and not bulk up too much. It’s always a mental game doing things you aren’t super familiar with, but it’s nothing if you have the right mindset upstairs. You have all the tools already, use them!!
