Our girl Nari looking AMAZING!
She just finished our last 8 week challenge claiming 3RD PLACE! 🎉
During our challenge she lost 13.2kg and dropped 8.1% body fat 💪🏼 These photos show her at the start of her weight loss journey (left), the start of the 8 week challenge (middle) and the end of the 8 week challenge (right). 🔵🔴⚪️🔵🔴⚪️🔵🔴⚪️🔵🔴⚪️🔵🔴⚪️ F45 Wellington East is possibly the best thing that’s ever happened to me at this point of my life. I use to wake up most mornings saying to myself “OK, I’m going to walk/push play/eat health, etc” but it never happened! And now I’m waking up before my alarm pumped to smash another 5:45am session with my F45 family. I would not be where I am if it wasn’t for my AMAZING TRAINERS - Liana, Nisha, Zoe and Rob! Every session they motivate me to keep pushing, to try new things and they celebrate all my small goals I smash in the gym. I am sooo thankful for them!!!! When you walk into F45 Wellington East you can feel that family VIBE and that’s what I love about it, that I am able to feel safe in my own skin especially on DAY 1 when I was a 119.3kgs girl just trying to start a journey to a better me. SO THANK YOU F45 WELLINGTON EAST FOR NOT GIVING UP ON ME 💪🏾
Watch this space, more exciting things to come! 💥
💪🏿FIT TIP FRIDAY💪🏿
Here is your fit tip for the day with mff steward of strength, @harold_gibbons .
What do you see here?
Strength and performance coaches will see a medicine ball scoop that teaches the body to transmit force from the ground up.
The legs, hips, core, and shoulders unite to generate as much power as possible when throwing medicine balls.
The benefits are fantastic, but there's something greater than force output to be learned here. Let's talk about generating a sense of power.
I've yet to see a Ninja at @mffclubhouse finish their first set of medicine ball throws without smiling.
There seems to be something universally empowering about throwing med balls, and I love including appropriate variations of exercises like this in programs when possible.
For me, the biggest benefit of improving fitness is the confidence boost that comes with consistently showing up to take care of yourself. .
Powerful athletic movement like throws have always seemed like one of the best ways to generate that success.
What exercise do you use to make yourself or your clients feel powerful?
Hey I’m talking to you... ✨I’m talking to you if you’ve tried to live healthier and then given up because it’s an uncomfortable challenge. ✨I’m talking to you if you’ve tried so many different diets and fads but never fully finish any of them. ✨I’m talking to you if you’ve started a workout program and then quit. ✨I’m talking to you if you have a hard time finishing what you start, especially in regards to your health. ✨I’m talking to you if you’ve slipped up in your nutrition so then threw in the towel altogether. ✨I’m also talking to you if you’re ready for a change. ✨I’m talking to you if you’re ready to be proud of yourself. ✨ I’m talking to you if you’re ready to keep a promise to yourself and your health.
I need to tell you that I’m talking to myself just as much as I’m talking to you. We aren’t alone, and no matter all the things we’ve failed at in the past, all the things we’ve quit and given up on, we can change that.
You can change that right now!!! We can change that right now!!! I am a health and fitness advocate, yet I have given up on more things health related then I want to talk about. #truth
We can seem to think health is an overnight thing but it’s not. It’s a learning process and pushing through the ups and downs when you want to go back to old “easier” ways. It’s about learning and figuring out what works best for you. I have been on this journey for a lot of my life but especially the last 5 years. Trust me when I say it’s a journey, trust the process and lean in to learn and get support to help you along the way. We all need that extra love 💜
Anyone else ready to accept the past failures you’ve had but also ready to REALLY commit to your health and happiness this time??!! #embracethestruggle#believeinyourselfalways
