We all have a gift that we can share with the world. Some of us find it quickly, some of us have to do a lot of soul searching and self improvement to find it. Unfortunately, some of us don’t ever tap into it all, because it’s hard work, it is not easy living your purpose. But I can tell you that it’s worth it!
For me, it has taken a lot of sacrifice, putting myself in uncomfortable environments and putting my trust in God to help me figure out what I am supposed to be doing in this life. I don’t have everything figured out but what I do know is that I grow closer to my purpose every single day.
It’s opportunities like this one with @carbon38 that make me feel complete and like I’m on the right path. Sharing my knowledge with a room full of women confirmed that I was doing EXACTLY what I should be doing in that moment.
My purpose is to uplift and help women find their inner strength by connecting with themselves mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically. That is what I was put on this Earth to do.

Goodness I miss these ladies! (Peep my dad in the corner photo bombing😂) I personally love the holiday season, but for some people it can be a very rough time. It can remind us of loved ones we have lost or memories we had in the past. So today I say a little extra prayer for those whose holidays are not always merry and bright.
I write this as I’m outside in the blazing heat in a bathing suit 😂But I swear when this picture was taken I was all cozied up on my @cordaroys bean bag and it was actually kind of #floridafall outside. ❄️
This morning I did all the #adultthings - I got some routine blood work done 😬💉 then, before I had to train, I stopped at a coffee shop to update some things on my website. People need to mind their own business. If you don't know a persons circumstances, reasons, background, specially if you don't have a lot of knowledge about a topic itself.
Honestly, just keep your opinion to yourself. I am very sick of people commenting on everything everyone does - when they have NO fucking clue!
It's okay to ask why people do certain things - its GREAT to do that! its good to call people out on bullshit. It's good to have an opinion. I LOVE debating and sharing opinions with other! It's important for our society.

Today I did an awesome treadmill workout, but was in a rush to get to a meeting and forgot to take a picture. So, here’s a picture from my recent trip to VEGAS, and five facts about me!! .
1. The first part of this caption was sarcasm. I hate running on the treadmill. I’d much rather run, anywhere else!! .
2. I have seven siblings!! I did not grow up with all of them, but sometimes this fact made it feel like you were getting lost in the crowd. .
3. I began working out at the age of thirteen, for allll of the wrong reasons. It took me a long time to create a healthy balance but it only made me love working out and weightlifting that much more!! .
4. I’m currently working toward a degree in elementary education with a minor in special education. .
5. I live in a very small, secluded town right above the mackinac bridge. Just barely enough to say I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Which is actually a term only people in the U.P. really use. .

Worked out 2/7 days last week but honestly I’m not mad about it. I’ve been pretty sleep deprived and I’ve been feeling a cold coming, so I decided to give my body a few days to rest up and recover. I’m slowly getting back into working out (ofc yesterday’s workout was glute focused) since I’ve been feeling a lot more focused and energized! Here are some of my top tips to recovery quickly from a common cold:
1️⃣ Drink LOTS of water 💦 Kind of a no brainer, but definitely something we often forget to do. Other fluids like electrolyte drinks, coconut water, and hot teas are beneficial too!
2️⃣ Eat nutrient dense and easily digestible foods 🍙 Your body needs to be fueled properly when you’re sick. Try avoid eating anything super oily, fried, spicy, high in sugar, and even dairy products. It’s also good to be aware of your micronutrient intake so incorporate vitamins/vitamin rich foods in your diet!
3️⃣ Minimize stressors and give yourself a break 🔋Your body is already working so hard at helping you recover, it doesn’t need to deal with more stress! Organize your work/school sched so that you’re not overworking yourself and you’re making to-do’s/tasks easier to complete. Might want to consider giving yourself a break from the gym or any intense activities as well.
4️⃣ Sleep lots and early 💤 Another obvious tip but resting is super important when you want to rebalance your immune system. Oftentimes lack of sleep is a big factor in weakening your immune system, thus causing you to become ill. Good sleep will help with recovery, boost in your mood, and more energy!
