This is my “before” picture---August 21, 2018, 2 PM Pacific time.
So, this is my picture/physique “before” increasing my protein intake.
I’ve been getting between 17-22%. Even getting that amount has been tough since I’m not crazy about meat. But now I’ll force myself to kick it up a few notches.
Pauline Nordin, founder of FighterDiet.com actually wanted to see my food intake. So I sent her the good, the bad and the ugly--from my homemade bone broth in the morning to my Peanut M&Ms at night.
Pauline says I need to eat more calories but mostly in protein. She says I’m too thin and should shoot for more than 30% a day.
Pauline, who is an incredible athlete and trainer, also says eating more protein will help me get my sugar cravings under control. I’ll be more satisfied and won’t feel like grabbing crap.
“Pauline says…” Yes, whatever she says, whatever this beauty has the kindness to offer to tell me...I’m taking as gospel!
I mean have you seen her? The Swedish native is drop-dead gorgeous—from her head down to her toes! Just beautiful! She’s built her life’s work around fitness and is a self-taught expert in the field. She pulls no punches and tells women AND men what we have to do to look healthy.
Pauline says (yes, one more Pauline says!) I’m lean enough but as soon as I add protein to my diet I’ll be able to kick A** in prison!
I know, right? I’ve been worried about that!!
The moment you feel like youre struggling or failing think about how lucky you are to be alive. You actually have the opportunity to see the sun go down at night and set in the morning. You have food on the table, clean water to drink and you have a bed to sleep in. You have human rights, you can wear whatever you like and nobody can force you to do anything. Youre safe and you dont walk around fearing for your life. Youve had obstacles in your life, but youve also overcome them and youve survived every time it felt like your life was falling apart. If you get sick youll get medical care and recover. While you worry about your career, family, friends and what to do next remember that theres plenty of people out there that miss everything you take for granted, things they will never have, oportunities they can only dream about. Realize that you have a lot to be thankful for. The point is to always look at the positives, not the negatives. Happiness is a choice and not a chance. Just look around and find reasons to be happy and content ~Bella~

I could pick apart so many things about myself, my life, and what I haven’t done yet.
But I would be spending precious time, that I don’t get enough of, on careless concerns instead of just LIVING it.
Enjoy where you are NOW. Just enjoy it. Don’t rush the process, don’t wish it was different...relax & trust the timing of your journey. Because I can assure you there will come a time when you look back and appreciate THIS moment. You won’t to wish it all away.

Hello Instagram! Time for a chest work out.😼 I’m starting to incorporate these into my normal workout routine as well. I’m feeling extremely sore from my leg workout, but I love feeling sore. Who else loves feeling sore after a workout?😂 It makes me feel accomplished! If any of you are interested in a chest workout here’s one: Dumbell Press- 3 sets 10-12 reps, Incline Press Machine- 3 sets of 10-12 reps, Cable Flies-3 sets of 10. Keep it light, if you’re just starting!🤗
